After reviewing his before and after pictures I reached out by email. He replied quickly and asked to view areas in person for an estimate. Oscar arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He spotted problems we didn't know we had ourselves. We had some scratching on one counter that he was not sure he could resolve. We asked him to try and we made an appointment for his work. Oscar and one other worker arrived on time and placed down mats to protect our floor leading to our bathroom, and taped up an area in our bathroom to limit the dust particles. Originally he estimated 5-6 hour work time but he was able to complete the work in 3.5 hours. Our marble countertop slabs have not looked this beautiful since we had them installed 25 years ago. They are so shiny and look new again! He was able to get all the scratches and water spots out. He then sealed the marble. Our travertine floors look amazing too. He did his magic and sealed the floors as well. Both surfaces are very porous so we were unsure what could be done. We highly recommend Oscar's business to you. We opted to refinish our kitchen and laundry room tile to match the finish of the Saltillo tile in adjacent rooms. Despite promises, it was/ is not even close. Our original tile had a rich leather like coloring giving our home a distinctive "desert refined" look. The refinished tile was actually garish- 3 tones lighter and too may color variations to count, including bright yellow tiles where there were no before. It had to re-stripped, color corrected by hand and refinished twice! Edgar tried very hard to rectify the situation but sometimes you can't fix broken. It was somewhat more even, but not nearly enough. Every time I walk into my kitchen I feel like crying. Pretty sure we're screwed on the resale value of our home because of this. I never would have contracted with them had I known this was the best they could do. I thought I did my homework and got several bids. Buyer beware. Saltillo refinishing is NOT their forte. Maybe a vendor from Phoenix or New Mexico who still practices those old techniques.
