Royal's had my back and offered up plenty of options for food and snacks. What sets this place apart from other grocery experiences is the service. I visited twice in a matter of a couple days and on both visits the customer service was terrific. The cashiers (different folks each day) were both chatty and welcoming, even to an out of towner. (Sometimes small town shops don't care much for city folks, but I didn't get that vibe here.) I'm happy to stop by and stock up on treats and provisions any time I'm passing through the area.

Sadly…read moreWalmart and the local groceries in Richfield, full of supplies, have no butcher so you are limited to the thin prepackaged beef they have available. No more. The town of Salina is almost the exact same distance as Richfield from Fishlake and in Salina you find Barretts Foodtown grocery with a full service butcher shop. I walked in around 6 PM and they were just finished cleaning the machines. Oh well. A man in a white apron was standing in front of the case, turn smiled and asked if he could help me. I said I was looking for a thick cut ribeye steak. "Bone in or boneless" He asked. Then he proceeded to grab a beautiful ribeye roast and a ruler. " How thick"? Inch and a half. He hand cut and trimmed the steak beautifully. I then proceeded to buy some of his famous sasauge and a flat iron steak. All beautiful meat. Barretts has a great vegetable section, a bakery with handmade desserts plus everything you need in groceries. All served with smiles and a friendliness not found in a major chain grocer. My flat iron was so tender you would have thought it was fillet. The dessert was strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream, fresh strawberries and a custard filling between two fresh pieces of cake. Wonderful. Plenty of parking. Terrific service. Highly recommended.

This is the alternative to shopping for groceries, instead of shopping at Walmart in Richfield,…read moreUtah. It's located off of Main Street across from the Maverick gas station. They have all the departments of a standard grocery store. Deli, Produce, Bakery, etc. The produce department had fresh produce. Organics were scarce. They had a delicious slice of carrot cake available in the produce department for only $2.50 a slice. They also have soups in that section along with sandwiches. I deducted one star because I found checkout slow in self-checkout. The machine prompted for a Perks rewards card number that I could not locate on their website. It would be nice if that rewards number was readily available on Lin's website. I was instructed by a store employee, after pressing the help button on the screen, to simply enter the phone number associated with the Perks reward account I was shopping with. It worked just fine with the phone number. Music plays over the store through speakers like any other grocery store. Kind of sad music at times, but mostly popular music. It wasn't loud in the store. A Starbucks is at the front near the entrance on the right when you walk in.

Stopped by Lin's Fresh Market in Richfield before Thanksgiving week because we were driving through…read morethe area and they have a Starbucks inside. The market is very clean and well-stocked, and has a giant bread-making machine that puts out freshly-baked loaves! It mixes and kneads the dough, lets it proof and bakes it. The loaves weren't ready when we were there, but it was fun to watch them being made, and they were just being baked. I saw a lady with a loaf in her cart while we were walking around, so she must've just gotten the last one. We walked around the market and bought one thing, but all the staff there were really nice. The Starbucks crew were really nice as well, and the bathrooms were very clean! Parking was plenty, and it was just a great experience. If you need groceries and/or a place to stop for Starbucks, this is a great way to kill two birds with one stone!
