Kim is a dream. On the first phone call I had with Kim she very boldly and specifically told me if you like my vibe then book me now because I will be booked up immediately. I liked how upfront she was and I booked her right after we got off the phone!! This was not a mistake. Kim did get booked up and there's a reason. She is the best florist in the area. She knows what she's doing and she knows how to deliver. We went to her farm twice just to look around and meet with her. She was so welcoming. She was generous with her flowers and made sure we stuck to our budget. The colors of the flowers were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was really stuck on having poppies everywhere and she called me a week before explaining that the heat had ruined the poppies in the area and it was unavoidable. She explained that she would try to get some or she would find similar flowers to make up for it. And boy did she deliver! My bouquet, our arbor, and our centerpieces were all perfection. Our day would not been ANYWHERE near what it was if it weren't for Kim and her team at Flower Blossom Farm. I had what I thought was this insanely unattainable vision going into the whole hunt for a florist...and Kim absolutely blew it out of the water. I remember the first time we met in person at our venue, she was standing on the tables trying to envision where she could start and where things would go. It was spectacular. She's more than "just a florist;" She truly is an artist...and she's such a kind and compassionate person down to her core. I'm so grateful to have met her and honored that I got the chance to work with her for such a big event. Our 180+ guests noticed every single little detail constantly throughout the day and night. I wanted to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside somehow...and Kim and her team made it happen without batting an eyelash. My husband was weary about vines climbing up the walls because he didn't want the reception space to look like the set of Jumanji, but man, did it pull the entire space together! Everything was placed so elegantly that it truly blended into the natural wood structure of the barn, and somehow popped at the same time...it was difficult to take yours eyes off of the floral and vinery because it was that stunning. I was worried about having such a huge area to decorate, but Kim did it seamlessly and gorgeously to boot. My bouquet was something out of a fairytale - I've never seen anything like it in my life...and it got SO many compliments. I even went a step further and had it preserved because I could not part with it (cannot wait to see it again!) The color palette of the floral was outstanding - every color was deep, rich, and full of mystery...it was everything I had ever dreamed of for my wedding. Kim arranged each round table with this dreamy moss covered in fairy lights...and interspersed these wooded, lofted arrangements that were so beautiful I could just cry thinking of them. I was going for an ethereal quality...much like Shakespeare's "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream," and the giant hanging arrangement that hung above our dance floor 100% nailed it and pulled the whole scene together. Between multiple emails, meeting at Kim's farm (and meeting her floofs - we love dogs), and phone call after phone call, this was such an amazing experience...I wish I could do it all over again. Kim was the first florist either of us had ever hired, and I think we'll probably never hire another one because she's impossible to top. She was informative and promptly responsive by email when we first contacted her, and did a fantastic job of coaching two floral novices through the whole process. We loved visiting the farm and getting to meet her (and her wonderful dogs!) in person. Working with Kim and getting our flowers from Flower Blossom Farm might have been one of my most favorite parts of the wedding weekend experience. My husband and our parents met Kim on the farm for a fun walk through the fields, learning names of flowers and deciding which ones should end up in my bouquet and the boutonnieres. Kim was warm, patient and encouraging throughout our decision-making process (I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to pick since I loved them all!) and I was beyond delighted about the bouquet she created for me. In addition to my bouquet and boutonnieres, we got several buckets of blooms from Kim to DIY our vases and bouquets for the rest of the wedding. I spent a lovely afternoon with my bridesmaids basking in the beauty of the flowers and arranging them in various combinations. We all felt that this process was very therapeutic and I'm grateful for the time to slow down and be present during what was a very busy weekend. Kim also included several special white flowers so that we could create a small bouquet in honor of my father-in-law, who passed away earlier this year. What an incredible and unique experience we had at the Flower Blossom Farm!! My husband and I used Flower Blossom Farm for our wedding flowers in September, 2017 and highly recommend Kim's services to everyone! Kim is very easy to work with, and happily accommodated our DIY budget. We purchased our flowers by the bucket to save money on our centerpieces, which is an option Kim offers all of her DIY brides. A few weeks before the wedding, Kim took us on a tour of her farm and hand picked a vast selection of different flowers and greenery to make a mock bouquet with. This allowed us to envision what our flowers would look like and reassured us that we made the right decision. We took the flowers home with us and my, oh my, did they made a gorgeous centerpiece on our dining room table! The flowers on our actual wedding day were SO beautiful, that even my husband and I (who had never assembled a flower arrangement before then) were so impressed by how amazing they looked with little effort. We met Kim at Flower Blossom Farm during the grand reveal meet and greet at Owls Hoot Barn in Coxsackie, our wedding venue. We were planning on just picking wildflowers, but I'm glad we ended up getting flowers from Flower Blossom Farm! We got 4 DIY buckets and she created the buttonhole for my husband. We were doing everything on a budget, so I wanted to design the flower arrangements myself with my family. The DIY buckets were awesome! We drove over the day before the wedding to pick them up. Kim gave us a tour of the farm, which is lovely, and she had pre-picked the flowers for us, based on the colors I told her. She picked a fantastic group of flowers of all different shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. She even included cat-tails! It was such a lovely assortment, and I am pleased we didn't just pick some random wild flowers! She also told us how to keep them looking fresh, and gave us some flower food to put in the water. We had so much fun later designing the centerpieces, and 4 buckets was more than enough for the 21 mason jars we were filling.
