First of all, even though I read that this restaurant has been open for several years. It was…read moreexceptionally clean inside - tables, floors, walls, and especially the bathroom. That speaks volumes for restaurants. We ordered a pizza and manicotti. I wanted to add a salad, but passed; see why later. Let's start with the pizza. My husband said it was the best pizza he had in the area and memories from his childhood from the best pizza joint that he ever ate at in Houston when he was a child. A+ I ordered manicotti. The pasta was tender and the filling inside was good; however, the marinara sauce was just more like a plain tomato sauce that had no flavor, so I was super disappointed. It came with a couple of pieces of garlic bread which were decent. I asked for a small side of Alfredo sauce and I visualized to her about how much I wanted which was like a small sample. She should've told me when I was ordering that they do not have a sample size, but she did not. What I got was a whole bowl of Alfredo sauce and of course I got charged 5.50 for it; and it wasn't even good. It was thick and coagulated. If she had verbalized that they didn't have a sample size I just wouldn't have ordered it. It seems like most of the issues besides the marinara, would have to be attributed to the waitress, as she could not stay focused. She was attentive coming to our table, but she just didn't open her ears to listen when we would speak. For example, when we asked her what size a small pizza was, she said OK a small pizza, which kind. We said, we were asking you the size of it. She didn't know the size but made a hand gesture of approximate size and said it was like a personal pan pizza. When I ordered a salad with thousand island dressing, with some things left off. She went through the trouble of marking everything on her iPad that I did not want, (relating they did not have carrots or tomatoes) and then again asked me what dressing I wanted. When I responded 1000 island again, she replied they didn't have the dressing either. I cancelled the salad. I believe if she had stayed a bit more focused and listened, (and told us upfront there wasn't a sample size of sauce), it would've been a better experience, (waitress wise, even though she was pleasant). We will visit this restaurant again, but since I know the marinara sauce was lacking I will stick to a pizza like my husband had.

Nicely furnished however quite cold inside. Lets hope they can keep their base customers happy. Shrimp alfredo served with only 2 shrimp today. Bread was forgotten. They did adjust the bill. We hope they will improve quickly..

Everything ok. order taken. my daughter orders endless soup and salad bar. she gets one cup of soup... never even asked if she wanted anymore. never were we offered a refill on drinks. I ordered a Ruby smashburger, no lettuce, just tomato, pickles, onions and mayonnaise. he tells me mayonnaise is on the side. ok. I ordered well done fries. it took a bit to get the food. Fine. He finally brings it.... no mayo and fries nowhere near well done. I can live without the fries but ask about mayo. He says he'll bring it right back. So 11 minutes later still no mayo and now food is cold! But we are watching him help and check repeatedly on others around us. so finally he gets near our booth and he looks at me and says oh ya.... I'll get your mayo now and heads for another table. That was the end of my patience. I called out and told him to forget it because my food was cold and my daughter was done eating. I told him remov my meal off the bill. so after forever....again....he brings the bill and says .....again.....I'll be back. yep... never saw him again. never saw the manager either! we will never go to a Ruby Tuesday again. That was lousy to no service. Poo attitude. And yes...no tip! It was totally unacceptable! And no don't even suggest we give it another try. I'm a nurse. if I did my j that poorly people would die!

Located inside the Bolling Wilson hotel on the ground floor, in the front left corner of the building as you walk in from the street front. An updated traditional small interior, with lots of seating outside both on the porch and side patio. We were greeted walking in and opted to sit on the front porch since it was a nice afternoon the day of our visit. Service is professional, kind and attentive. Our server was prompt with our drink orders, appetizer and entrees, and checked on us enough without being overly intrusive. We enjoyed a leisurely meal in a beautiful setting. Starting with the Griddled Focaccia eith balsamic reduction drizzle. A great starter, simple, well prepared and delicious. I opted for the Mustard grilled Pork Chop with a Devils backbone Lager. The chop was nicely prepared but a little overcooked (dry) not bad but still overcooked. Good flavor and a nice presentation, however it was dry which made it tough to cut. The flavor and the sauce made it palatable though, just wish it had been tender and not dry. 4 Stars - All in all, still a decent meal with great service in a nice comfortable locale. 01236
