If cloning technology ever advances, I would clone Dr. Morad and Dr. Shifteh and make sure every city and county in America has a copy! :) I moved out of the Bay Area a couple of years ago and haven't found a dental practice in my area that comes remotely close to the quality of service these two exceptional dentists provide. I've been a patient of Dr. Morad and Dr. Shifteh over a number of years and have complete trust in their care. They both possess impressive knowledge and excellent skills, use top-notch technology and materials, approach their work with integrity, and are genuinely kind and caring humans. If you need any cosmetic work done, Dr. Morad and Dr. Shifteh shapeshift into artists and work wonders to make your smile look as perfect as can be. I recently traveled back to the Bay Area just to see Dr. Shifteh -- because I don't trust anyone except her and Dr. Morad with visible dental treatments! The rest of the team at this office -- hygienists, assistants, financial coordinator, front desk staff -- are also competent and kind. They hire the best folks here. I think google reviews are more difficult to delete by a business but I could be wrong. Again Don't seek orthodontist treatment here, unless you want your child to suffer. Negligence and Errors: - Brackets were improperly placed, causing unintended tooth movement. - Wires embedded in the gums caused severe inflammation. - One anchor loosened, leading to further complications. - My daughter developed a crooked smile and pronounced overbite within months. 4. Dismissive Behavior: - Concerns were dismissed and attributed to "natural asymmetry." - Statements like "I'm good, not God" reflected a lack of accountability. - Emotional health concerns were met with laughter from Dr. Morad and her assistant. 5. Prolonged Damage: - Other orthodontists refused to take over due to the complexity of the case. - Continued treatment with Dr. Morad only worsened the situation. - After 32 months, we discontinued treatment, losing all trust in her care. 6. If these factors posed limitations, why did you take on the case and charge thousands of dollars for a service you ultimately could not deliver? I hope this feedback encourages greater accountability and care in future patient interactions. And that the respective authorities do something about it to protect the public from 'professionals" like you. I had taken an appointment there just because I work nearby and when I went there the first time, the welcome that I got made me feel as if I entered a 5 star hotel... the staff are very friendly.. I had the fortune to find Dr. Ghina Morad when I drove a friend to an appointment with her. Just meeting her and her staff was a pleasure, and alone is worth my recommendation. It is Dr. Morad's empathy, pride in her work and compassion that makes her uniquely able to care for her patients. Specifically, Dr. Morad has always had the ability to convey my oral health to me in such a way as to make me smarter regarding decisions I had to make down the road. She educates rather than just tells you what you need, in a way that's hard to express. It was in the midst of the covid-19 shutdown that I had a situation which I feared I would be stuck with, as all dental care was shut down. To my surprise, Dr. Morad opened up for me the following morning. Long story short, I was given a thorough exam, she was able to X-ray the area to pinpoint the problem and she gave me her thoughts. Finally, she had a 3D imaging machine which she used and this provided the proof as to the problem. She took the time to tell me what the problem wasn't and why. To top it all off, she had me in the care of an equally capable orthodontist within the week. In the end I needed pretty extensive care, but was able to decide on the choices I was given without question after having a high degree of understanding from Dr. Morad's great care. I highly recommend Dr. Shifteh I couldn't thank her enough for being an amazing dentist Seriously couldn't have landed a better one! Also, the reversal injection worth it. She offered this the first time and I wasn't sure but this time did and was happy with I did. I was able to eat an hour after my filling. Again times a million, thank you to Dr. Shifteh. If I could, I'd give Dr. Ghina 10 stars. I switched to Dr. Ghina from my old dentist because I couldn't see him sooner, and boy am I glad that I did that. Many of us have had plenty of bad doctor/dentist experience, so when you finally meet a good one, a great one, you just know - and Dr. Ghina is exceptional. She's professional, warm, relatable, patient and thorough - she welcome me with a big smile and explained everything she would do in detail. Besides the x-ray images, she also took photos of my teeth so that I could see and compare what's normal and what's not - I've been to a handful of dentists before, and none did this. For all the injection-haters out there, I too hate needles, so much so that I often avoid anesthetics for minor dental works, such as fillings. Dr. Ghina told me she had a trick and asked me to give her a chance, and.... I BARELY FELT A THING! The trick was to inject very slowly and use the other hand massage my lips/gum... I know this is not typically something that gets everyone excited about seeing a dentist, but I was sold on the spot - finally there's a dentist who knows what she's doing and does it so painlessly. When I had the option to redo my front crowns - not urgent, mostly for esthetic purposes, Dr. Ghina didn't rush me, instead, she just asked me to send her photos of smiles that I like so that she could help me pick the kind of front teeth that would look best for me when I am ready. I did just that, and decided to redo the crowns in the end, which turned out to be just like the inspo photo I sent her. I also had to have a root canal done, and I totally forgot how painful it is after the procedure. I called the office, and the ladies (who are always so kind and attentive) at the front desk immediately got Dr. Ghina's partner on the phone (Dr. Ghina was seeing another patient at the time), who offered to see me as soon as I needed if the pain is unbearable or not subdued with ibuprofen. Later that night, to my surprise, Dr. Ghina texted me to check on me - I mean, have you ever had a dentist check in on you after your root canal? Not me....I could tell that she's not just doing this for me, this is how she is as a doctor - she cares about her patients. After my 1st appointment with Dr. Ghina, I made my husband switch to her from his dentist of 10 years. After his first visit to the office, he said "you are right, she is the best - she's so passionate!" And that's why Dr. Ghina is the best - she's passionate about her job, passionate about being the best dentist to her patients, and passionate about connecting with her patients. I've been seeing Dr. Morad for many years as an adult. I appreciate that she is a conservative dentist-that is, her goal is to preserve the health of the existing teeth. So when she recommended braces to correct a grinding problem, I was reluctant (I'm almost 60) but confident that it was best for my long term health. I can't lie-wearing braces for 17 months was occasionally inconvenient. But Dr. Morad and her staff were very responsive to any of my concerns and helped me manage them. And now that the braces are off, my teeth look and feel beautiful! More important, the grinding issue is totally resolved. Dr. Morad may work for some but if I were you I would get a second opinion. My wife just had some work done on a tooth and she almost lost it with the shoddy work done in 2014 by Morad. We just went to a forensic dentist who was brave enough to open up the area and was shocked at what he discovered. I went in for a broken tooth. Found out I needed a root canal and scheduled it. Due to having Covid I had to reschedule the root canal. I did have a cleaning schedule and went for that. The dr. Told me to postpone my treatment because she wanted to do all this other work. Root canal dr. said I needed procedure right away and recommended getting my crown right away. However, my yrearoplan did not provide for my crown. July 18th I called to cancel my appointment for the next day and asked about my crown. No one responded about the crown. In August, I filled out consultation form asking for crown. Not sure if anyone tried to call me. In September Dr.s and fficevcalled to say my cleaning my postponed. I finally asked for my crown again. The soonest I could get in was 3 weeks. I think it is bad business for dr.to ask client to postpone necessary procedures. Also, the receptionist asked if I had the root canal. The dentist had the records so why didn't the receptionist know I had the procedure. I think there was very poor follow up about my crown. I feel that the dr. Is more interested in profit rather than her clients well. read more

I had my teeth cleaning done this Thursday in Redwood City clinic. Oh my god, I am completely not satisfied at all. I wasn't planning to write this review. First of all, the hygienist cleaned my teeth very fast and she used the ultrasonic. The previous hygienist had never used on my sensitive teeth. I feel very discomfort during the cleaning. The back office is very welcoming and will walk you through each part of the process to help you feel comfortable. Be careful.. I most certainly did not have a positive experience with Ghina. Having not been to a dentist for years, I made an appointment with Ghina upon the recommendation of my neighbor. Ghina sold me on how great the white epoxy treatment is for filling minor cavities to prevent them from becoming more serious issues. Three short months pass, and the first; of what turned out to be many, of her repairs fell out. When I went back I was given a story of how she can't anticipate how much someone's tooth flexes and if it happens three times she puts a veneer on it. If it falls out three times; excuse me! With the latest technology, a specialist in TMJ and orthodontic treatments, I knew I was in the right place upon attending my initial consultation with her. Thoughts and remedies for TMJ have evolved greatly within the world of dentistry, as long as you are lucky enough to find a dentist like Dr. Morad. She has opened my eyes to other possible triggers of TMJ, such as sleep apnea...who knew?! Dr Morad is truly a professional dental specialist. I had an emergency need to have a broken filling done to my molar, and Dr Morad's office was so accommodating. They squeezed me in their busy schedule and I was just too thankful. But most importantly, Dr Morad was patient and fully explain every step of the way. She will tell me the options and likely outcomes of her procedures, then fill me in throughout the whole process, making me feel assured. Some dentist will just jump into what they want to do and tell you AFTER event, but this is never the case with Dr. Morad. You are kept well informed and it is so important. Her clinic is super clean, organized and very well equipped with the latest of equipment and gadgets. I love the scope-like cameras where I get to see exactly what the problems with my teeth are, whilst being explained to me treatment methods. Being pregnant and unsure what procedures/ drugs can and cannot be used, you can trust Dr Morad. She explains everything to you in a way that any lay person can understand. She is experienced and very skilled with her craft. I was totally amazed how quickly she managed to get me fixed up. Instead of a temporary/ sticky-tape solution, Dr Morad managed to find ways to properly "repair" my teeth in a permanent manner. I have been a patient of Dr Morad's for about 4 years and the past dentists I've seen defintely don't live up to her standards. She has a friendly receptionist that is always efficient. She also has a great dental assistant so if you're having a cavity filled, the procedure is a lot faster. The hygenist in the office is great too. I've had a lot of cavities and Dr Morad fills them the fastest! I wouldn't say I'm exactly terrified of going to the dentist, but I am definitely scared a little because I've had so many painful experiences with past dentists. Dr Morad always takes her time and makes sure I'm actually numb before putting the drill to my teeth. She's also very funny and fun to talk to. My mom and sister also see Dr Morad and love her. My sister had two vaneers done on her front teeth and they look great! You can't even tell she had any work done. I've almost had all of my metal fillings replaced with the white-type of filling (don't know the name) and they look great. Dr Morad is a special Dentist. I have been going to her for a few years now, and I am *quite* happy. I started going to her when she was in my network, and we did a few fillings, as well as a root canal. She is always very nice and gentle, makes sure I'm plenty numbed up, and explains what she's doing when she does it. If you prefer to just come in and zone out either via watching a movie on her little virtual eyeglasses, or just listening to your ipod, you can do that too. She always has a smile on her face, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. Now finding a dentist who you can trust, who has a steady hand, and will always take care of you with a sincere smile on her face isn't easy to do. However...shortly after changing companies where I work, I realized that she was no longer in my network. Dr. Morad is all of these things I've described and more. I had a problem with a bridge that was done by another dentist on my front teeth, 8,9 and 10. I went to Dr Morad to have it evaluated. She found it was cracked and should have had a metal backing when it was originally built. She did a complete re-make of the bridge and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Dr Morad as a professional and very competent dentist, along with her staff. And just a side note, I do not take any numbing medication. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Morad and her team. I started going to her after not going to the dentist for 8 years. Even though I was terrified of being scolded for not taking care of my teeth, Dr. Morad (and Debbie, the hygienist) calmed my nerves and we came up with a game plan. She was a very gentle and calm when dealing with my tooth even when I was in a lot of pain. She is a very friendly person and made me feel very at comfortable to be at the dentist. We moved to San Carlos a year ago - time to find a new dentist. Went in for a visit this morning. Turned out to be a fantastic experience. Here are some of the reasons: 1) Easy to get to, easy to find parking. 2) All of the staff I encountered are friendly. 3) After taking a complete set of x-rays, Dr. Morad came in and spent quite a bit of time going over my dental health, brushing habits, and reviewing the x-rays. She is nice, friendly and educational - I learned a ton. 4) She has all the latest technologies that makes the discussion valuable and on-point by using high-res digital photos inside my mouth. 5) She pointed out areas that I need to 'keep an eye' on and let me know what warning signs would be. 6) She didn't just tell me to brush and floss. She used various models to show me effects. 7) I didn't feel like Dr. Morad did a drive-by while her staff did all the work. Quality time with my dentist.
