I did not use it but a member later showed me the commode trailer as I was taking a snap shot since I laughed at the 'luxury toilet' label. They are air conditioned and definitely quite a step up from a blue box situation. For the event I was able to try 2 types of pinot noir, their sparkling and their chardonnay. Delicious and I was in shock to adore their chardonnay because that is not a wine I enjoy often. The food was also lovely. I was a bit surprised as to how many children were present as even the popcorn seemed not something children would enjoy. The grounds are also very adult with gorgeous views but with lots of gravel around, the kids were running through the tents since there was no where else to be.

He chatted with me a little bit about growing up and picking grapes (son of the owner) and he gave me about 1/2 a bottle of one of his creations to go. It was excellent. We will be back. He explained to us that they rent out their facilities and machines to other surrounding wineries which pays a lot of their overhead and therefore they don't need to charge absurd prices on their bottles. What a cool concept! Towards the end of our tasting, the crowd cleared out and we were the only ones left so Matt took us on a private tour around the whole facility. It was really awesome to see all the steps of the process, including the bottling/labeling machine which I had never seen before. Went into the barrel room too. The whole place is clean and nice. It was so fun to be shown around like that! He was so great. Even let us taste extra wines outside the tasting menu and a couple straight out of the tap on the holding tank! We bought a few bottles, how could you not when they're this cheap! The Pinot Gris stood out to me as it seemed much fruitier and juicier than what I've tasted before. We had a great time here, and while most the family does not drink a lot of wine, there was something for everyone here. The owner, David, greeted us as we walked in and sat us at the large table in this small tasting room. He sat with us for most of the tasting, describing the wines in detail, telling us the history, describing how the land around Oregon varies and how it impacts the wine. It was really interesting and he so helpful and open to answering all of our questions. You can tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his wines and he made our experience really unique. The wines themselves were great, and we left purchasing 2 bottles of the 5 wines we tried. While they have a variety of wines, their white wines, especially the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Blanc, were phenomenal and I highly recommend. The tastings are really reasonably priced at $25 and their bottles were also well priced. The tasting room itself is very laid back and casual. It is decorated and feels as if you are just sitting in a relatives living room enjoying a glass of wine, so if you are looking for the instagram shot of a glass of wine over a vineyard during a sunset, this is not the place, but if you enjoy kicking back and enjoying solid wine in a more laid back setting with folks who care about their wines, then look no further!
