I ate at the sister restaurant last night and manager recommended I try this place tonight. It's very busy and I was able to get in by sitting at the bar next to the open kitchen. Immediately I felt welcome by not only the wonderful hostess but also the incredible smells coming from the kitchen. The restaurants is located underground, so it gives it a feeling of mystic. The lamb skewers were amazing and a bit spicy. Soo good with fresh cilantro. The meat so tasty and tender. I then had the Lettuce cups with roast duck and chinese sausage and duck skin.
These are the best lettuce wraps I have ever had. The duck mixed with the sausage, cilantro, red peppers, mushroomand spices makes your taste buds soar. The green beans with mushrooms and XO sauce is beautiful with sesame seeds and red bell pepper cubes. The Biang Biang noodles are thick noodles that needed a bit of hot sauce. If you plan on visiting Auckland, New Zealand, I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
