Full story: A few months ago I went in to sit down with artist Bosco Layne, and give him an idea of what I wanted. I had trouble voicing exactly what I wanted but I brought reference pictures of other work I liked and some of his that I liked. A few weeks later I saw what he came up with and was thrilled. I was still booked a little while out so I had two sessions booked to just make any revisions I wanted and then the appointment. Bosco came up with something I liked so much I didn't need any revisions so these meetings were moot, but I'm glad we had the time to sit between them and reflect that I didn't want to change anything out. That leads me to today. The appointment went great, and the tattoo came out better than I could have hoped. The pricing was more than fair, and I couldn't be happier. They take COVID precautions seriously, I was temperature checked and everyone was masked the entire time I was there. I will be coming back to them in the future if I add on to this or get new work done for sure.

I explained to the studio my worries and was reassured that they did nice work with clean lines. The day of my tattoo I noticed the design wasn't what I submitted, fine. I also noticed something seemed "off" with the design. I thought maybe it was the placement so we replaced it. It turns out it was the stencil itself that was crooked and it didn't show as prominently until after. I didn't get to pick my artist and the one who did the piece was only 2 years out. Once they were finished I asked to go over one of the lines to connect it more and they double lined it. You can tell where the line was redrawn because it made a new line rather than going over the one that was there. They then walked me through the after care which was another concern of mine. They told me that it would be healed in a week or two, wrong. It took several weeks for it to heal and the line weight is very uneven on the piece and some lines even disappeared. I reached out to the shop to ask about touch ups as it was mentioned the day of the tattoo but they haven't responded. I sent the email almost a month ago. I'm pretty annoyed as I would love to try and even out the line weight but I'm thinking it'll get screwed up even more. Safe to say I will do more research before getting another tattoo and make sure I look into the artist/their work. Next time I will be sure to be more stingy with how I want my design to look.

Secondly, they offer an amazing collection of jewelry to choose from, or to swap out previously had piercings. My piercer was named Robyn and she was super personable, and made sure that I was relaxed. Immediately it was apparent how professional she was at piercing and took her time with sterilizing all the parts. A week later I reentered and had to get my bar extended to account for healing. The owner squeezed me in immediately and I was also able to talk to the owner who helped me out. She was also super kind & friendly I could tell she was super passionate about opening this piercing facility & wanted only the best for her staff & customers.

The room was very open and inviting, and there was music just loud enough to be distracting but so loud that it was overstimulating. When they showed me a selection of jewelry to choose from, they had every option in two different hypoallergenic materials, which was amazing as I react to a lot of metals. There was an online form to fill out that was very easy to understand and fill out. When I went in the room where they do the piercings, all of the tools were in sterile sealed bags until they were used, and were promptly thrown away after the procedure was done. The actual piercing went very fast and Jozi was amazing. She was very comforting and let me stay lying in the chair for as long as I needed because I tend to get lightheaded after needle encounters. The staff then let me sit in the waiting room (which had very comfortable couches) as long as I needed (it took me about 40 minutes) and they even brought me a cup of water for free and made sure I was ok. They were saying they see it all the time and did not try to rush me out. Not one part of my experience was negative. It came out looking amazing and the more I look at it, the more I love it! I HIGHLY recommend!
