We found ourselves in the position of needing to host TWO major events around the December holidays at our home, with at least a couple dozen people at each. Including one that required an in-home chef service. We do a good job of keeping the house tidy, but aren't great at the detailed jobs like cleaning baseboards, dusting, etc. We simply wanted a really good deep clean of the downstairs where we would be hosting. We used Yelp's request a quote tool for this need, and I have to say. I love it. My request was immediately pushed out to area vendors big and small and I got about 5 responses within a half hour, complete with quotes and answers to all my questions. This is our fourth time doing this. We will keep doing it. It made the booking process easy to essentially text with businesses rather than play phone tag. Some wanted too much money for a one time clean, others would not do it at all unless they could do the entire house, presumably to talk us into a monthly cleaning subscription. CPC answered my questions and provided a very simple hourly rate with a minimum of two hours. They were available, and this was perfect for us. The ladies who arrived were very professional and got to work right away while we worked our home-based jobs. They only interrupted when the given tasks were completed and asked if we had more work for them since we had another half hour left. I appreciated their diligence and work ethic as we were DEFINITELY not watching them, and they could have just coasted through that last half hour. Instead they cleaned our guest bathroom. Lovely bonus. While I didnt slap on a white glove, it was obvious the downstairs was much more clean than before. Thanks to all the detail above, I would highly recommend CPC to others, and am even considering hiring them to do something like a monthly cleaning.
