Offered to reschedule sometime the next week. This was after I had planned on the delivery, taken off work, and waited for 4 days, not contacting anyone else, becuase I was sure of the expected delivery. I can understand letting the driver decide it was too slick, that's a call on the driver. The lack of communication, unanswered phone calls, voicemail was full and we couldn't even leave a message, and then saying that since the driver cancelled the deliveries because it was too slick, we were welcome to come pick up the wood was the final nail in the coffin. I would not recommend them to anyone. I was able to make a call to another person, and got the wood delivered that afternoon. Even in the rain, when the temperature was dropping, and the other company was prompt, friendly, well priced, and he let me know when he was on his way, and when he arrived. Just one guy...how is that even possible?!? Overall, a terrible experience with Austin's Firewood. 1/10 would not eat. :(

The grass was in excellent shape when delivered and now 6 weeks later it has established itself fantastically. The crew arrived on time, trimmed everything exactly how we wanted, cleaned up all the debris, and even stacked usable logs for us as firewood. We were so impressed that we hired them again to fill bare spots in our lawn. Eddie took the time to explain the best grass for our yard and how to care for it. Once again, the price was fair, and the crew did great work. It's hard to find honest, reliable companies that do quality work at a reasonable price. When they called it was mesquite. Then they say they don't have seasoned hickory and suggested half order of seasoned pecan. The pecan wasn't seasoned either. They did offer to pick up all the wood and give me a refund, but I'll just let it sit and season for next year.
