Best local grocery store with the friendliest and most efficient staff. It's small but it's clear that it's well run, clean, shelves are stocked and food is fresh. Checkout lines can be long but they move quickly. Usually takes me 5-10 minutes. Highly recommend. read more

I only go here on occasion because it is close and convenient. The stock is so limited and usually the biggest selection is giant eagle brand ...no thanks. Organic? Not a huge selection in general. Add to that freezer burn I have gotten on my frozen goods, I have zero confidence. I was told once by someone who worked behind the scenes that they re-froze all the thawed meat after a power outage from the tornado that swept thru here years ago. Who knows if that was tru, there was no way to know. It's disappointing really to see this kind of stuff over and over again. I would love to be able to count on my local grocery store, but when the produce is moldy on top of old and withered , no way. I wish they would update things a bit and make some improvements. I think it's important to support your local businesses, but there isn't too much they offer that makes you want to go there. read more

I come here often for food supplies. They have basic items, but they have a critical issue on another end; their food orders. My organization has had the same issue twice now in a 2 year span. We've called nearly a week ahead of time to order 100 pieces of chicken. But both times when I arrived to pick up the order, it wasn't ready, nor did they have record of the needed order. This is very unprofessional and is forcing us to take our business elsewhere. Order from Walmart or somewhere that keeps records. Thanks. read more

I know I speak of behalf of any poor soul that has ever had to shop here. Yelp would run out of room before I finished everything that's wrong with this store. The old grouchy lady Bernadette who works in the liquor store is just as mean and rude as they come. How they haven't fire her is amazing to me. But it makes sense she's still here as the general manger is in outer space. He looks like a messed muppet with his odd comb over haircut. Everything about this store is just terrible. Aisles cluttered with "stuff". Not enough lines open, and the ones that are, are extremely slow. The store seems to be taking favorite brands off the shelf, and substituting them with giant eagle brand products. The fruit is mediocre. I do have to say, the staff is extremely nice. read more

I am so happy to have such a quality grocery store just 5 min down the street, otherwise we'd have to drive to either Chardon or Mayfield Hts, 15 min. away. They are spiffing up the produce department and we are just about always able to find what we need. The employees are friendly and helpful. read more

This Lil giant eagle is awesome. Great workers. Everytime I come in they have everything I was looking for and so much more. Lines can be long but everyone knows how to check and will get you out quickly. None of those anoying self check outs here. They actually walk you to the item you a e looking for rather then pointing to where it should be. Great store. read more

I only go to this giant eagle because it is the closest to me. I don't like it. The produce is not a good quality even in the summer when it should be at its peak. The aisles are small and hard to get two people to shop. They also believe that Saturday morning is a great time to stock the shelves. So add small aisles and huge skids of product and it can be as frustrating as construction on the freeway. The deli only has one person most of the time, even at the busiest times. The bakery isn't bad, and the pharmacy is very helpful, and quick. read more

The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. One time I was walking in the produce department and I was taking a Snapchat to send to my friend when one of the employees asked me what I was doing, so I explained to him Snapchat and we took a picture together! You're basic local grocery store. I'd put it a step under Publix, but better then Winne Dixie. The service was nice, and if you have their rewards card you really do save a lot. I was shopping for my grandma and forgot to use her reward card, so when they adjusted my receipt they gave me cash back. I'm telling you, way better then cutting coupons. read more

Small, local Grocery store that has no competition so it has no incentive to improve their service, cleanliness, product selection or speed of shopping. Little do they know that the ALDI in Chardon and other competitors are kicking their ass and most people shop here to do last minute food pickup. Why not expand and that would greatly improve their business. read more

I shop at the Chesterland Giant Eagle regularly. Everyone who works there is helpful, polite and kind. This was especially true when it came to Thanksgiving. There was a problem with their prepared holiday meal. I'm writing not because there was a problem but because of how they solved it. I was impressed with their concern and good natured solution. this chesterland location giant eagle is horrible,but it is the only grocery store around close by so i have no chioce to go there. they are the rudes people from the lady in deli to the pharmacy to the service counter even some cashiers. if you cant handle the public or dont like people you shouldnt work here. several times i came in after work around 530 and the deli was close ok so someone called off. And one time the rude lady behind deli told me well hurry up cause i gotta go iam closing(600) decide what you want. the cashiers dont know anything when asking a question. i needed a ticket for useing my own bags one cashier didnt even know about it told me to go to service to get one there and she told me to go to a cashier after 2 min running to different cashiers to get the ticket witch i shouldnt of had to do i left cause they were all rude to me and said i had to get it from the cashier i went threw. when your receipt not right or you think it is not they get rude at service desk.one time a lady was redoing my receipt credit me then recharge she did everything so fast didnt explain what she was doing and when ask for a explaination she said trust me it is right i know what iam doing and on the phone the whole time with a call i still dont know what she did and never got a receipt. this is got to be the rudes store as well as your meat is old and horrible there was browns breakfast sausage the other day 10/4/18 they said it gets like that i had to,bring brown meat back at least 10 times terrible store i refuse to buy meat there.just go there for last min stuff. will not shop there. read more

Had the worst treatment ever! Was using legit coupons that were in black and white since I do not have a color printer. Per there policy, printable coupons can be color or black/white. "Ashley" came over (she is in charge of the front end), said my coupon was photocopied since it wasn't in color. And RIPPED them up! I am more than enraged and will email, call and do whatever it takes to make things right. She should not even have her job. read more
