I don't typically shop here. I stopped in today to grab a rotisserie chicken. Smallest rotisserie chickens I've ever seen. However I was pleasantly surprised by the rest of the store. Although this is not a Market District location they still sold beer and wine. They had a really big selection of premade dinners in a cooler to take home. Then a food counter on top of it. You're forced to pick one star. I went to get a gift card on my lunch break. They had two registers open. The workers averaged age of maybe 90. They were slow. My lunch is 30 minutes. I was 20 minutes late to work and I work 5 minutes from there. Will never be back to this location. read more

Giant Eagle is my favorite store in the area, and, when my daughter visits from Florida, it is one of her "go-to" stores, as well. The store always seems very clean, the store staff pleasant and helpful, and they are doing better with stocking "health" foods. No complaints from me!! read more

I was disappointed by two recent moves that decrease safety for customers. The entrance and exit were reversed forcing those entering and those exiting to intermingle. The exposure is increased. The directional arrows were removed from the aisles. These changes are increasing exposure and have all but eliminated social distancing. Please undo these changes. read more

I shop here sometimes after work. The store is clean and well managed. I rarely wait long in the checkout isle. They could improve a great deal on their produce, it usually looks okay but it never tastes fresh or like it was grown locally. The pharmacy is pretty good, however the line there is usually slow. read more

We were out driving about West of Pittsburgh running errands and catching the new Thor flick the other day when Kay realized that she needed potatoes, salt, freezer bags, and sour cream. We also hadn't eaten in 5 hours. Remembering that a Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe is housed inside an unnamed (?) shopping center, we headed there, and much to our relief, so was a Giant Eagle, which meant there'd be no additional stops. This Giant Eagle is undergoing some renovations as I write this, but don't let that deter you for this is a fully-equipped supermarket. Something this GE has that I haven't seen at others is a spice center where shoppers can pick up peppercorns and other such things with a scoop and a plastic bag. There's even a grinder on hand. Of course, walking past the bakery resulted in us purchasing two "character cookies" made to look like turkeys with colored buttercream icing. Well, now yinz know there's another GE to go to when you need to. read more

Certainly not Market District level, but this Giant Eagle is ok. It's the nearest Giant Eagle to me. It's much better since it got renovated, I can remember shopping here over 10 years ago when I lived in Moon and hating it! I like this Giant Eagle!! So friendly, clean, and easy to navigate. They seem to have a lot of the Market District level items for purchase, but it's still a Giant Eagle. I love getting Fuelperks with my GE Advantage card on my grocery purchases to fill up my gas tank at GetGo. Prices could be lower, and more sales, but it's a typical Giant Eagle, so it's the usual. read more

This is probably the fourth worst Giant Eagle I have ever had the displeasure of shopping at. Today marked the third trip I had to make this week. You may ask yourself why so many trips. Well it's because I'll go and they don't have things stocked. Plus t is laid out like a someone gave a large coffee with extra caffeine and lsd to a 5 year old and said plan it out. There are some good deals here. But I'd travel a little longer and pay a little more to deal with people that would speak to me like a human being. From the Citizens Bank tellers to the Giant Eagle cashiers almost every woman I have ever spoken to in this store have been nothing short of rude and miserable. I love the meat specials they have but honestly to save myself the aggravation, I'd pay a little more for better customer service. read more

This Giant Eagle is being renovated. I liked the spice center best. It's not as expansive as the Market District, but it works.

Pharmacy is really slow and rarely has medications ready for pick up when scheduled. Staff is rude and unapologetic.

The store is fine. The delivery option on the web site does not work for s***. One week it accepts payment and processes the order. The next time in it won't take the order. Piss poor IT read more
