Love this store! So much cheaper than Kroger. Yes, they are high on some things, but not anymore than Walmart or Kroger. Their gas perks are way better than Kroger and the empl are genuinely nice and helpfu. my prescriptions are much cheaper here also. read more

This giant eagle has the worst customer service ever they have a sale going on and they do not have the product that's on sale. They don't write rain checks. I've been into the store three times. They said they were supposed to get a delivery of the product today, I called. They said they had the product I went in. They don't have the product and for whatever odd reason that product hasn't been ordered in in two weeks really seems like a bait and switch tactic to put up Montel and then not have that product into purchase. read more

I had to pop in to get something while visiting Lancaster, and this Giant Eagle has all of the things! I feel like Giant Eagle is a touch more fancy than other grocery stores, but that could just be my experience. This Giant Eagle is very organized and has nice wide lanes. It also has a good variety of food items. I saw some gourmet snacks that I don't usually see at other grocery stores, as well as some Latin sodas, which was kind of a surprise. The produce section was also organized and full of fresh-looking food. The bakery is located next to the produce section, and also had lots of yummy things available. read more

Giant Eagle has many gluten free items. I shop there but if I didn't I would have went there just for the gluten free items. Thank you giant Eagle for having so many gf items. Makes my life so much easier!!! Also you have a lot of low sodium for my husband also. read more

Love this store. Great selections throughout the store and a wonderful staff that has always went way out of the way to help anytime I needed anything at all. They have a huge wine and liquor section that is sure to have just about anything out there. The deli and backers are certainly top notch. The store is bright, well-stocked and the aisles are clear. There are some items we cannot find here, like Zesta saltine crackers. There was only one checkout lane open, but all of the self-checkout lanes were open. We wish they had more of the smaller carts. If you don't bring one in from the cart corrals, there is a slim to none chance there will be one inside. read more

Two words: Salad bar. I only shop Giant Eagles for their salad bar (their prices are higher than were I normally frequent). This store gets good traffic, thus they keep the toppings refilled, from what I've observed. Oh, and they have MORE toppings, it seems, than the Pickerington location - a giant plus! The parking lot's huge. Makes for an easy in-and-out. A few times there's been nobody behind the counter to check me out, but usually it doesn't take long for someone to come out. read more

This is such an awesome grocery store. I have never been to Giant Eagle chain before, so I will definitely be on look out in the future. The rewards program is nothing short of terrific. You get about 20 cents off each gallon of gas with about a $50 purchase. There is a free vacuum cleaner for your car at their gas station. $12 car wash gets you another 50 cents off per gallon of gas. As for the store itself, I like that they give out samples of food. This reminds me of Sam's Club or Costco, without the membership requirement. The store is bigger than your average grocery store but smaller than Walmart. The quality and presentation of prepared foods and their specialty areas is on par with Whole Foods, minus the extravagant pricing. Organic food sections are in every food isle, labeled and quite large. There is a diverse section of alcoholic beverages, wines from every part of the world. They supposedly have wine sales on Sundays. The store is very clean, well stocked shelves. Check out is effortless and quick. Pleasant atmosphere. read more

This is my first time living near a Giant Eagle so I'm normally a Kroger person. Well, I have converted! Giant Eagle has reasonable prices and their fuel points program is far better than Kroger! They have a bigger variety of gluten free and healthy options than Kroger does! It is very clean and so far always well stocked! They also have a car wash that earns you a lot of fuel points, too! read more

I agree that Giant Eagle is a great food store chain with a terrific rewards program. I also feel that the store in Lancaster is a stand out. It isn't quite as large as the other Giant Eagle stores I have been to while visiting family in Columbus, but the overall quality and presentation of the prepared foods, seafood market and other specialty areas was just outstanding. I live in New Jersey when not in residence at Hideaway Hills, and I sincerely wish I had a food store of this caliber here. Well done, Giant Eagle! read more

Yesterday August 21, 2016 I was getting chicken for my daddy's birthday. 76 Woohoo! Mary was so kind and told me to shop, should be ready 15 minutes. Back in 20. Still no chicken. Ladies in the back brought out chicken for another area. No chicken for me. Then brought out chicken for the hot servers....for me. NO. Another gentlemen got chicken and paid extra. He had been waiting also. Not as long. Beside the point. Mary apologizing......so kind!! Dirty looks from the back. Then finally chicken passing me by again. But it was what I wanted.....Mary brought it over to me. 45 MINUTES LATER! If not for the service from your employee Mary.. I would have left. Next Sunday after church........Hello KFC! The ladies in the back lost my business!! Oh my Goodness!! If you hate your job ..leave!! Be nice, Is it so hard? It's called customer service. Smile! Be happy! I shopped at Giant Eagle today in Lancaster. The first employee I encountered was a courtesy clerk who rushed to help me when I tried to get a cart that was stuck to another cart. Then when I checked out, I was behind an elderly lady in a rascal cart. Jenny, the clerk, helped her when she could not see the screen on the card reader. Then they tried to get someone to help her to her car, but when no one was available, Jenny calmly finished my order, closed her aisle, and took the woman to her car. Only place in town that has E85 gas! I always get $1-a free tank of gas a month as much as I shop there. Kroger rewards program can't compete with Giant Eagles. The eagles nest where my kids play is wonderful, they'll cry if im running in after 1 thing and they can't go there to play. The people are always friendly and helpful. My fav store =D read more

Grocery store is fine, but the Giant Eagle Gas station is a Joke. I went there on the last day of the month to use my wife and I gas points that we share with her mother which was .60 cents off. Apparently I looked too young to have permission to use these points because I did have her mothers ID to use the card and points! Strange , I was there the other day and didn't get carded to use the card. lol Very Poor way and rule that is not displayed very well ( even if it is ) business strategy. read more
