My mom was asking about a particular iron supplement pill that she's been taking and had asked me to stop over there and see if there were any in stock. To my surprise, I found the most valuable employee in the pharmacy section, who went above and beyond her duties to help me track down this particular item that I couldn't find on my own. She was a miracle worker to me, although they didn't have the exact type of medication that I was looking for. We often overlook supermarkets and big business stores, especially ones like Walmart, but I felt the need to say "thank you" to this particular woman for going out of her way for me when she honestly didn't have to. She deserves some serious props for keeping it real when it comes to customer service, and I'll be sure to stop back there again really soon!

When I am hungry, Turkey Hill is where I will go, especially when I am traveling. There are many hard-working people throughout the various Turkey Hill stores. And, though my many years on this planet has taught me that any store/person can have a bad day, what I can say about the Turkey Hill store at 735 S Broad St in Lititz, PA, is that the store and its personnel are CONSISTENTLY terrific. That consistency keeps me coming back. Every week, I travel to Lititz from my home in Lebanon County, and in over 3 1/2 years, I have never been disappointed with the service at this Turkey Hill. Of course the counter can be busy at certain times, but that is because the store is popular. The manager, June, is very personable and ready to help, and personnel such as Jess, are very hard-working and have, on certain occasions, impressed me with their ability to multi-task. The overall atmosphere of the store is upbeat, and SPECIAL DECORATIONS during the numerous holidays make the store a special place to drop in quickly or sit at the tables, dine in, and just take it easy. In short, this is, in my quasi-humble opinion, the best Turkey Hill store in the tri-county region. I highly recommend patronizing this Turkey Hill and, if possible, slow down and enjoy the store.

About two weeks ago I went there to get gas. After a few cents worth going in my tank, it stopped…read more I went into the turkey hill where there were two guys behind the counter and told them the issue. They said this happened to a previous customer. He asked if I got the cheap stuff. I said no I got the middle one. Neither seemed to know what to do and said they might have to call someone if it happens to someone else. I was in a rush so I said I would try a different grade. I went out and the higher grade worked. Meanwhile two other customers were having the same issue and I went to tell them the issue instead of the employees coming out. Hopefully they actually put a sign out there for future customers but not betting on it. Now it is two weeks later. I am hoping that the previous issue is a one time deal. I pull in, get out of my car and when I go to put my card in I notice a small note in maybe 12 pt font that says they are temporarily out of gas. That should be a big sign as to not waste our time. That should be on the big sign where the prices are. I saw 4 other cars pull in after me so I was not the only one wasting my time. They really need to get their act together. If this is going to be a regular issue I will take my business up the street.

I will say we decided to eat dinner there and we had the salad bar, and sandwiches. Salad bar had fresh options and delicious soups that tasted homemade. My only disappointment was, Sadly, the eggs in the sandwiches we ordered tasted premade and reheated, not made to order scrambled eggs and they tasted like they could have been powdered? Overall though, it was a nice time. The restaurant is also family friendly and accessible for those with disabilities that may require a wheelchair. The staff seemed friendly and our service was very good. Not a long wait time. Overall it's a wonderful establishment and the market is incredibly loaded to the rafters with goodies sure to please everyone. The Ice cream for dessert was delicious too. I would recommend Oregon Dairy. Not just for the great market and gift shop,but it's a cool place to bring the kids with an outdoor playground area and different seasonal activities.
