One open lane. The others are self checkout.

This is actually a follow up review to a review I left on Google Maps. https://maps.app.goo.gl/nssiFNavRMvsHHsx8?g_st=ic This place has not improved. They are still forcing people through the self checkout lanes. It is a Sunday at 5:45 pm and once again there is only one checkout lane open. Here is no one at customer service. I am willing to give a place a second chance. This was Giant's and they have not changed. NO MORE.

They are very short handed at the Pharmacy. There's always people waiting, Can use more help. The employees are great.

It's a family owned business and you can definitely feel the family atmosphere! I provided the amount of folks I wanted to feel and the variety of fish I was hoping to pick up! The yellowtail, tuna, salmon and scallops were buttery and flavorful! Everyone was raving about how fresh the seafood was and how it was better than eating at a sushi restaurant! Whether you are in the market for some oysters, lobsters, etc., they have everything! I also learned they frequent a lot of the local farmer's markets! Thank you to Matthew and Noah for making everything possible! Tip: Sign up for the email newsletter! I will be back and you should definitely visit Lobster Maine-ia for all your seafood needs!

I've gotten live lobster from here and steamed them at home during the summer- had a great experience with fresh lobsters! I recently tried the lobster rolls and it was fine. I'm not sure if I'll be back for the rolls, but I will for live lobsters. Lobster rolls are $20.20 for 1. They can assemble it for you, or you can take them home, toast it and assemble. I recommend the latter and add butter to the rolls. I also added a big squeeze of lemon before eating. I've had better, but in a pinch these are good. I think I'm partial to Connecticut lobster rolls. Out of curiosity, I weighed each container of meat. One came out to 4.58 oz and the other 4.66 oz (including the container, which on its own was about 0.7-0.8 oz). Loved the bread- soft and even better with the slight buttery toast. On another note, I know it's not peak season for anything, but the fish under the glass counter looked a little gray and sad. I will be back during the summer. :)

Okay so this is going to be the first half of my experience. "0" stars after ordering a dozen and a…read morehalf XL's this past Saturday we had the worst possible experience as we got some of the soggiest, unfresh crabs from any place that we've ever gotten them. They were a good size and warm when we picked them up. We were supposedly getting a good deal for them. On the drive home (30 min away), the brown paper bag they put them in was leaking from the bottom and I got a bad feeling. As we got home and began to chow down, basically every large, heavy crab was filled with water and the meat was soggy and grey in color. As you removed the claws there would be ounces of water dripping out. The body of the crab barely had any meat and it was grey and soggy, no sign of any yellow "mustard." Made me think these were a day or two old steamed crabs that were reheated. Either that or they were boiled, with all that water coming out. So the other half of my review will be published next week as thankfully, the owners agreed to replace them all and we decided we'd get the replacements next weekend Saturday. Then I will be able re-review these guys. We've gotten crabs from these guys in the past and they usually are pretty good just once in a while a few might be smaller than what you order. They do sometimes put in some that are larger than you ordered. This particular time I was extremely disappointed because I feel that if these guys are experts at what they do, they should have known what kind of crabs they were giving us. Hopefully, they don't just unload a bad batch of crabs purposely, to unsuspecting customers thinking they won't get any complaints. This time it was impossible not to call them back and complain about them. Hopefully, they will redeem themselves and I will continue to come back. Otherwise, I will not. Will drive an hour to Captain White's as he does also have great deals on crabs and they steam them right in front of you and you see the whole process. Curbside folks will go to the back and bring out your order and you're left wondering how fresh are they and how long ago they were steamed. EDIT: So after getting the replacements, all is well as we thoroughly enjoyed the crabs this 2nd time around. Thank you Curbside Crabs for making it right!

Now I'm not even gonna lie--the prices have definitely gone up a bit. The extra large crabs were $109 a dozen, so I grabbed a half dozen... and BABY... when I tell you those crabs did NOT disappoint!! They were BIG, heavy, and FULL! Not the prettiest things either--rusty, ugly little shells--but don't let that fool you. Honeyyyy, they were sweet, juicy, and packed with meat! I absolutely indulged with zero regrets. And let's talk about that butter I ordered on the side... whew! That just took everything over the top. Shoutout to the guys at Jesse Taylor--they did their thing! Great crabs, great flavor, and always worth the stop when I'm in the area. I'll definitely be back... even if it's just once a year! I went up to a vendor and spoke to a young guy working there, but he just looked at me and didn't respond. I even asked, "Did I do something to you? Do you know me?" He mumbled something and walked away. What made the moment even sadder to me was that he was the only brown-skinned worker there, and as another brown-skinned person, it hurt feeling ignored and unwelcome by someone who looked like me. I understand everyone has off days and there are times people may not feel like coming to work, but when working with the public, customer service should still matter. A simple greeting and basic respect can really change a customer's experience.
