So don't show up here expecting a restaurant. I love that 4P Foods has made the process of getting food via CSA so easy and convenient. You can get local veggies, meat, dairy, and pantry items for a really good price, no more than you would pay at the grocery store, and I feel great knowing that I am supporting local farms. It's really easy to put in my order, select what I want each Saturday and then just sit back and wait for my delivery. I also love the recipes that they send for ideas on dishes to make. The delivery is made to my front door, which is huge considering that I live in an apartment. I have definitely recommended to all of my friends!

Participating in a sustainable food source and cooking a plant-based diet are ways that I am resisting the impact of capitalism on black bodies. All the staple sections are there. The store was super clean which is always a super plus in my book! I noticed they have more premade and ready to cook selections than some of the other locations. The precut fruit was looking fantastic as well. The slow ambiance filled music playing in the background will have you wondering if you should be slow dancing in the aisle as the store is dimly lit on the inside. The bonus was I had a hard time finding taco shells of all things. As I stood in the middle of aisle 8 and asked a gentleman who was stocking the shelf if he worked there her responded no but he does so I turn around and the other gentleman stops and says how can I help you ma'am. I advised I was looking for taco shells and it was like he was in unison with the music as he replied aisle 16. Taco shells in hand, made my way to the checkout and was on my way. We went on the first opening day this season and were turned away - which was disappointing because we spend a considerable amount of money each time we go. We have since gone to other farmer's markets that are dog-friendly, such as Manassas Park Farmer's Market and Mosaic District Farmer's Market during the weekends. The Thursday market in Old Town Manassas is okay for produce and some snacks - but also not dog-friendly. Note that there's no law about not allowing dogs to open-air markets. If the point of this rule is to alienate dog owners who have money to spend, then you have become successful.
