Not to mention all the freaking bugs throughout the entire storage unit! I contacted the manager about it and they have completely ignored me. I've been paying them about $90 a month to ruin my belongings. I would have been better off throwing everything in the trash instead of renting from 17A Mini Storage. Would have saved myself nearly a thousand dollars in storage fees.

(Not that this happened to me -- OK, obviously, it did.) Some years back I had to put an apartment full of stuff (including several hundred books) into storage, pronto, and a friend who kept some of her belongings there suggested Vernon, for which I am extremely grateful. The storage units are large and secure, and I was able to fit everything into one unit. It was just about the only thing that worked well at a crummy time. I've kept the unit for the past four years, with no problems at all. The rates are great and the people who work there are really nice and friendly. It's month-to-month, so at some point when I need all that stuff again, I can go and get it, without breaking a contract and paying a fee. That's handy, too.
