Barnesville GA. The management is very poor! They discriminate against their employees. They treat…read morethe employees that actually do their jobs, meanwhile the employees that are not doing their jobs are walking around the store eating food off the shelf and/or is standing around playing on their phones and/or talking nothing about work with management. All this while lines are long at registers with the only employees who are working. Management has no problem being rude and nasty to workers that work, they freely do so infront of customers. Customers have plenty to say when management walks away. They tell working employees that they are taking them off the schedule for 2 weeks for doing nothing wrong. When an employee works a double shift and ask for their 30 min break they get sent home instantly. Corporate should really get involved and watch cameras, ask previous employees who quit and talk to every employee still employed. They should get rid of any and all employees that does not do their job, who discriminates employees and higher up bosses that wont correct the bad situations employees are having to deal with. This store has also took away all cleaning supplies from works so nothing is properly cleaned with this coronavirus (COVID-19) going around.

After I waited for 15 minutes with other items roasting in my car in 90° weather, the Customer Service with authority to help me (who had told a fellow employee that she would help me) returned with three or four boxes of 12 mini diet cokes. I reiterated that I only wanted 2 six packs of the mini cans, none of which were on the shelf. She told me there were none in back. I asked her if since there weren't any of what I needed, I had to pay full price for the larger box that I did not want or if she could give me a discount (maybe the same price as 12 would cost in the BOGO?). She dismissively told me that I had to pay full price if I only bought one box. I consider that neither "working with me" as a customer nor Customer "SERVICE." frankly, I was shocked and appalled at her attitude and lack of desire to help a customer. She had no apparent desire to help me as one of her customers. Her attitude does not reflect the customer orientation that I have known in any other Publix in any state in my life. I am grateful that there are now two Publixes in LaGrange and I will do all that I can to shop at the Publix at Merganser Commons instead of the one on Commerce in the future.

On the date/time of our pick up after phoning an order in the previous week, no cookie cake order was ready in my name. I was disappointed but luckily the gentleman working at the bakery very quickly remedied the situation and made one up for me immediately. He then discounted it a few dollars which was kind of him. This won't be my sons home Publix but in a pinch it is nearby and I am very grateful for the exceptional same day service the bakery staff member provided to me. The cake was for the next afternoon and when we served it, it was delish as per the usual with Publix cookie cakes.

Don't believe them...they don't do it. I go to the Locust Grove, GA store #1052 to pick up my 1 $2.07 RX. I walk past the line up to the Prepaid Pickup window. I am told by the person at the regular pickup window to go to the back of the line. I tell her no need to because I prepaid. She says there is no one to help me even though there are at least 5 other people working. I say I will just wait here. I am told that the 2 that can help me are both on the phone and they are too busy to help. So I stand there waiting on my prepaid RX while the snarky cashier helps every other customer except me. After they clear out all the other customers she tells me she can get me now. One of the other two that can help is off the phone but didn't even bother. Don't offer a service that you don't provide and then have nasty, mean girl staff make sure they don't help you. Complete customer service fail and unfriendly service on top of not delivering what service that you promised and promote. Also don't think you will get help from the Publix corporate office either. After 6 calls of being hung up on and transferred all over the place because there is no "CARE" in their Customer Care, I finally was able to leave a message for a "Mike Chavez" over the Pharmacy services for store #1052. Did he give me a call back? No he did not. And based on Publix's total lack of caring about the customer, I am sure I won't hear from him tomorrow either.
