Sadly, we were leaving that day. Try out the food court is a must for me. They had all the standard: pizza, hot dogs and soft serve ice cream. They did have polish dogs. I wish they would bring that back at home. They also sell chicken strips and fries. I had to try out a Canadian specialty which is the poutine $6.99. It's french fries smothered in brown gravy and cheese curds. It was my first time trying it and I did not like it. The gravy was so salty and made the fries soggy. That said, the differences based on geographical locations keep things interesting. Although there were plenty of folks walking about, traffic was pretty tamed and so were the lines queuing up to checkout. Speaking with one of the bakery staff members, their recent seasonal item was the Peach Mango Coconut Loaf Cake, which sounded amazing, so I got two. Even the cashier lady was eyeing them and wondered if they were any good. I also purchased a package of Mrs. Dunster's Crescent Shaped Sugar Donuts. After taking these items back home, my family and coworkers had a chance to try the loaf cakes. In my opinion, these loaves were a tad sweeter than I'd like, but the others enjoyed it. The donuts on the other hand were delicate and balanced in its sweetness, so I kinda wished I bought more.

There's lots here - Walmart, SAMs, Bed Bath Beyond, and my fav, Qdoba. They have lots more too. It also keeps getting new stores. This place is great for things that are not in the outlet mall, but are still low cost things, no high end stores in this plaza. Tons of parking all around.

I was hungry when we arrived so we went straight to the food court and then strolled the store looking for a couple items. We had plenty of questions from the food court to looking for things around the store and how our American money would convert with this being our first time to Canada. Every single employee was not only delightful, but we even chatted with a couple of employees folding clothes and they even gave us some tips about local places to visit. Aside from the food court purchases, we ended up not even buying anything else. However, we found it worth the time to let people know they do have some great employees in there.

Giant Tiger = Giant Deals…read more Just saying. I used to live 5 minutes walking distance from here and let me say, Giant Tiger (GT) is a staple among nearby residents. They have so many good deals here. For example, a box of powdered sugar doughnuts is only $1!! And oh man, are those powdered doughnuts good. My mouth is literally salivating as I write this. GT always has some good deals going on. Every week they have new specials and often times you can get really good $1 deals. Once they were selling frozen pizzas for $2. I bought four (plus a box of powdered sugar doughnuts). There are of course some items that are a little expensive, but most things are a good deal. GT sells clothes, food, drinks, and home supplies. Basically everything you need for your household you can find at GT. The quality of their products is good too. I would say higher quality than Walmart but lower quality than Costco. Overall, great place. You know you won't be getting ripped off here, and the staff is quite friendly too. The store went through some renovations recently. Basically they changed sides for the exit and entrance doors, and made it so that you have to walk all the way around the store to get to the cash register after walking in. Looks nice though. If I still lived close enough, I would definitely stop by here. Bonus: the beer store is right next to this place in the same plaza!! Whoooo!

Not exactly a grocery store, not exactly a clothing store... just kind of everything. There are some things that are overpriced here but there are some good deals too. I found touch screen gloves for a few dollars, some cute stuffy toys (impulse buy), and I've seen some really cute dresses that my friends wear and tell me they got from here (shocking!). The clothing prices are cheap, like $15 for a dress. I don't know how their shoes hold up but they look cute. I like getting pop, butter, and canned food here. There's also lots of parking and it's beside a beer store.

When my daughter asked if they were hiring her response was, "You're not who we're interested in." If that wasn't bad enough, the look and her body language was unnecessary and disgusting. Whoever you are (and I hope she's this), you should be ashamed of yourself. And so should five below for having such a nasty employee. Unfortunately, I had to put one star or I wouldn't have been able to express myself.
