Im in my early 60's and purchased 2 dresses for my daughter's wedding. I loved both of them. I…read morewore only one to the wedding, obviously. I wore the one that was more age appropriate for me, I wasn't really comfortable with the long v neck on the one, even at the store, but Haily/Holly said it was fine for my age and naturally my Husband agreed so I settled. Well I wore the long black one with fall colors on it, this i was completely comfortable in. Another friend of mine was there and she had purchased her dress there too, which I thought was awesome. So long story short, I am a farmgirl, no longer working in the office/business world. I called and asked if I could return the UNWORN DRESS, still with tags on it and the LUNA paper.....I DID NOT want a refund, I would exchange for a shirt(s) just the $42. pd. for the unworn dress. No they can't do that do to COVID. Hmmmm so when I went in it was COVID and I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I needed to purchase something and with a pleasant attitude. Soooo if I can't return an item do to COVID......sounds like clothing should not be tried on due to COVID......unless you wrap your body in a plastic bubble so you dont drop a germ. Sorry but not sorry, these young ladies just went against everything I thought they stood for. To bad because there were alot of shirts I seen in there that I fell in love with.....this sucks!

At this point I'd have to say about 75% of my wardrobe is from Luna. As someone who gained a significant amount of weight due to a medical issue, having Hailey curate a wardrobe that made me feel sexy and fabulous in my skin made all the difference. Plus, her pieces are unique, not stuff everyone will have. Definitely pop in here, you won't regret it.

Nice selection of thrift store clothing that is in good shape. I think they are selective about…read morewhat they accept. I find the quality and prices very good AND it's a registered charity; part of the Big Sisters/Brothers organization so proceeds are going to an excellent cause. They now have a small housewares section but don't have room for big items like furniture. I do make sure this place is on my list when I'm on the hunt for something. Ample free parking and close to other shopping on Merivale.

I like that the impacts of donations and purchases stay local. And organizations that help kids always have my support. The clothing at Thrive appears to be geared towards youth and so skews on the younger side, in my opinion. The racks are filled with brands like Old Navy, Garage, and Ardene. Prices are cheaper than places like Value Village. They had some new items like Funko Pops and Squishmallows, while I was there, but I guess these depend on donations, perhaps these were from a business (?) They also had some used video games and controllers. They also have (new) Big Brothers and Big Sisters merchandise. Staff are friendly. I believe that many of them are volunteers. They are located in the Emerald Plaza. Lots of free parking in the plaza.

Saturday July 20th 2024 I was on my way to Trenton from Ottawa and started losing power at Prescott…read moreso I went to the Canadian Tire and a panic! Sally Moore the service manager listen to my tale and I got a mechanic to look at it right away! Apparently it was a transmission issue they couldn't be fixed there because it's a specific repair but he said I could get back to Ottawa but do not continue on to Trenton. He was checking diagnostics and the transmission fluid and was very thorough! I was able to get home safely rent a car and continue again on my journey but I will never forget those two kind of people at Canadian Tire Prescott Ontario I will never forget the prompt great service and kindness of these two staff members! I wish I could give 10 Stars

I had an oil change done last week on my car at the Prescot location. A few days later, I noticed a…read morepool of oil on my cement floor in my garage. I checked the amount of oil and it showed 50%. So I headed back over to Canadian Tire in Prescot and left the car there over the weekend as they had no mechanic. So yesterday went and got my car without Canadian Tire knowing. It was still in the garage but not on the hoist and they told me it was the drain plug seal and that they did a complete new oil change but for some reason they could not have the gauge amount show full so the mechanic says he added an extra litre which then registred 3/4 full. I have an electronic gauge. Anyways, it did not make sense to me so when I got home I opened the hood and noticed oil residue all over the upper left side of the car. So no way that would be caused by the drain plug. I think the young lad who did the oil change did not secure the oil filler cap properly and the engine pressure caused oil to escape. So got lied to my face by the mechanic and the manager. For what reason, I'm not sure. STAY AWAY!
