The pharmacy department is decent and quick, the staff is informative to the situations that arise. Bug draw back- bathroom. Don't come here to use the bathroom in the summer. The line is usually backed up and after a few people it statutes to smell funny- not the fault of the staff (tourist).

9/12/17 While here…read moreon vacation my husband had a freak accident - while cutting a sausage the hot juice squirted in his eye burning it - a quick stop to Kinney Drugs and we got very courteous help from the young attractive female pharmacist on duty - she immediately knew what to suggest and after few applications of the eye drops his was fine - how refreshing to be so far away from home (Maryland) and receive such kind help.

Neither time have they been ready after waiting all day to go pick them up. Today I waited until after 5:00pm to go into the store. The drs office told me they would be calling it in right away. ( This was about 9:15 this am.) The person at the counter told me that it would be in tomorrow at noon, and SHOULD be ready for pick up sometime after 2. Or I could wait 20-30 minutes and she could see if there was enough to fill my script! why in HE** had she not already done that! I had already made a special trip into Potsdam from Pierrepont approx. 8 miles away, to turn around and go back home, therefore another 8 miles! I AM DONE WITH THIS PHARMACY. I asked her a couple questions and she seemed to be knowledgeable on the products and was very professional. She also gave me some samples to try out so I'm excited to try the foundation samples she gave me. Overall this shoppers is one of the smaller ones. But it has a post office which is always nice. And the post office staff are always SUPER nice and professional no matter how busy it Is. They also have self serve cash out which l like. I explained my situation calmly, including a medication safety concern. The pharmacist on duty refused any supply, offered no alternative or next step, suggested I needed mental health help in a way that felt dismissive, and walked away while I was mid sentence. When I asked for a name so I'd know who I had dealt with, I was told "none of your business." I'm sharing this so other patients know what to expect, and I've filed a formal complaint with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
