Very pleased with my experience at Gibble Upholstery. Took in my VW GTI for a sagging headliner. Answered all questions, and knew my car enough to request me to stop in advance to determine which of the two shades of gray were required so they could have material necessary. Car was completed on time, with apparently good craftsmanship. Price was below dealer cost. Gobbles has been in business for 73 years- if I recall our conversation- and are a staple in Manheim. I was a long time customer, but things have changed. The quality of work has gone down and customer service is horrible. I had two seat bottoms replaced, both of which I supplied, both were OEM. When I went to pick up my vehicle both leather seat covers had material that had gathered at the rear end of the seat and was clearly visible. When I brought it to their attention, their excuse for the poorly done job, was that I should have ordered leather through them and this is the best they could do (Complete BS). I was also told that my heated and ventilated seats had been tested and were working properly. A few days later I traded in my Escalade, the diagnostic scan the dealership ran stated that both seats Gibble's worked had no ventilation or heat function. I called from the dealership no one answered the phone, I finally did get through and had to leave a message. I never received a return phone call, I guess I shouldn't have told them I wanted to bring my truck back. The dealership was kind enough to say they would take care of it. Last but not least, I had called Gibble the day before my appointment to confirm. It was a good thing I did, I was advised that two people were out and that I would have to reschedule. Do yourself a favor find another shop that actually care about quality of work and good customer service. read more

THE BEST- Our family has had two vehicles worked on by Gibble's and they proved to be EXCELLENT in craftsmanship and value! 2006 Volvo V70 - recovered "A" pillars by windshield and just had drivers side bolster resewn along with leather dye touch up. Seat looks new. My sons 1999 Mercedes E350 had the entire headliner and sunroom panel redone and it looks like it came from the dealership new. read more

I normally would not go to an auto upholstering shop but my wife and I came into a great deal on a vehicle that had some weird damage to interior door panels. We looked all around in York and Lancaster to find replacement panels or someone that could fix them and finally we found Gibble. So glad we did! Gibble took the tattered door panels in the back of my wife's car and re-upholstered them. They did a beautiful job using OEM materials that matched perfectly. The price was a steal versus buying replacement panels. I can not recommend them enough. This is my place to go for any auto upholstering needs in the future. They are A+ in my book. read more

They did a terrible job cleaning the mold out of my car, didn't get in any of the cracks and crevices at all. When I took it back to show them he would not admit he missed anything as he was pulling lint and dirt out from around the seats where he was suppose to clean and blamed me for it. Terrible service, my car still smells, cloister car wash does a more thorough job in 15 mins then he did in 3 hours. Would not recommend. read more
