During the quote period communication was perfect. Lots of text- email- visits as we reviewed…read moreoptions and scope. During that time however we became complacent and began taking the suppliers word on work- how it would be done scope and final look feel. Their last part of the project (complete landscaping of front of house including beds and new sod) was the left-hand side of the house- something we had multiple onsite meetings about and should have been clear. Sadly, at this point they just seemed to give up. They did remove some old leaves and clean up half the area- the other they left with Magnolia shoots- 12-14" sprouts and threw pine straw on top of them. However, we found out later that even what they "cleaned" they simply carried further down the lot and threw into a pile on the line between our and the neighbor's property. The final product is that 3/4 of the yard has a professional look/feel and then you get to the left side and it looks like it was thrown together after a weekend cookout and 2 cases of PBR. Its honestly bad- so much so that our neighbor felt the need to come and volunteer their opinion of how bad that section looks. Consistently their approach when I would point to conversation and facts was to simply insist I was mistaken and didn't understand what they meant. By this point I knew that I had made a massive mistake in trusting and not insisting that prints prints and documents be exact so I just paid them to have it all be over.
