Dr Luke is very incompetent and stay far far away from him. I am SUFFERING greatly and have to take antibiotics for the rest of my life because somehow he introduced a serious staph infection into my body.

She recommended that I come back at another time and meet with one of two other physicians. They qualified me over the phone to meet with this doctor, their mistake, and then they tell me to come back? The arrogance of the practice to treat me as if I have nothing better to do than come to doctor appointments and live without a diagnosis for my pain. Dr. Levin probably wouldn't meet with me because he wouldn't be compensated by insurance long term. Well, Dr. Levin and BOS, compensate me for my wasted time in your office.

A week before the appointment, I get a call. The doc is canceling my appointment, she won't be in, would I like to re-schedule? Sure, I say. Can I still have a Saturday? Yes, I am told, and the appointment is made. Or re-made. Today, I get a call canceling my August 31st appointment. Seems like it took the good doc this long to realize she won't be in on the 31st. Me to caller: You know, this is the second time this has happened. Why do you offer me the option of a Saturday if she doesn't want to work on a Saturday? Caller to me: These Saturday hours are new to us. New? It's been 5 months since you first offered it to me! As it stands right now, I didn't make another appointment, telling the caller that I will give it a few more months and hopefully by then, the doc will have made up her mind whether or not she wants to work on Saturday. I did not want to risk making yet another appointment only to have it canceled. I don't handle rejection very well.

My appointment was with Dr. Cacciopo and from the moment I called the office to make the appt. and answer the preliminary questions, they were really friendly and nice. This treatment continued throughout the whole process. Dr. Cacciopo himself was young, "hip" and nice as well. I felt he really listened, explained all my options thoroughly and gave me piece of mind as I weigh the various options related to my ordeal. I'm actually very grateful I visited his office, as his diagnosis and approach is different than my first doctor, so it may be something more serious than previously thought! I highly recommend this office if you need a neurologist, and are a little freaked out by your health condition. He and his staff will treat you with dignity and put you at ease!

They suggest I find a hand specialist, which lead me to find Dr. Metz at Core in my Cigna PPO network. First visit doctor simply examined the finger, took X-rays, and did an ultrasound of the finger to see if he could determine a diagnosis - x-rays and scan looked clear. To avoid future issues he recommended we remove it. Follow-up visit in Elks Grove Village for surgery was easy. Dr. Metz fully scrubbed up (which is something my derm never does). Dr. Metz removed the growth and sutured the small incision with great care and precision. Follow-up visit was simple - stitches removed and confirmed diagnosis of scar tissue/nevus. Would NOT hesitate to see doctor or recommend him or the Core Orthopedic Group for any future medical needs.

There are chairs in the waiting room that are made for tall people. They are easy to get in and out of. I love it. The rooms are all clean and bright. The front desk staff and the PT reviewed my doctor's notes and told me the visit would be "a hundred-something dollars" billed to insurance, with me responsible for 20%. Based on that, I agreed to proceed. Instead, they billed my insurance $360, leaving me with a much higher out-of-pocket cost. When I called billing, the manager said I must have misunderstood and claimed they don't give estimates, refused to check with the staff who gave me the quote, and told me to contact my insurance. I was also warned the balance could be sent to collections. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and the customer service was very disappointing. I won't be returning and recommend getting everything in writing before starting treatment. They billed 3 codes for every 15 min spent there, Therapeutic Procedures 97112- $126, Neuromuscular reeducation 97112 $70 & Therapeutic activities 97530- $162.00. Hope this helps anyone who's considering PT at this place.

I told Dr. Nourbash before my knee replacement surgery that I was taking small doses of a light…read morenarcotic medication for gagging. He decided, based on that, to give me the most minimal pain medication's after surgery. A small bottle of 12 light painkillers as they wheeled me out the door. After I begged for something stronger, I could not get it. Just before two weeks after surgery it was so bad, that I almost took my own life. My wife called the police emergency line. Luckily I got through it and on the third week I could stand the pain with the low-end painkillers. I could not get any type of reasonable painkillers from Dr. Nourbash. He told me it was because one of his patients had taken their own life the year before. After that, I could barely get appointments and he really didn't want to see me. I showed up one day with no appointment to see anybody because I was having trouble, and they would not help me. 3 years later, I had my hip recently. I was given the proper medication for high pain relief, which worked wonderfully. My recovery was smooth and uneventful. I would never recommend Dr. Nourbash. He made my experience extra miserable, he even got angry with me when I was asking about getting a better pain medication. He never showed that he cared about me or my situation.
