He came to each class well-prepared. He has the ability to explain complicated problems in an easy way. Not only did we feel she was highly unprofessional, but we also feel she was also very aggressive. After we stated that we would be going back to school in Aug and our child needed a break from tutoring for a month and Corrine stated that she didn't feel comfortable going to the school to teach and we must do it online. I did not feel we could take our child away from one subject to replace it with another especially since she was just starting school after being out for COVID. She decided she was still going to bill us anyway. I questioned her billing for services that we had not received and she then abruptly responded back saying she wasn't a good fit because I questioned her billing but then proceeded to bill us anyway. She then proceeded by threatening us with the police coming to our home to collect $160.00 for services that were never rendered. It was shocking. While our daughter complained and wanted to go back to her previous tutor which we loved, we always encouraged her to try and move forward. We paid Corrine thousands and did not feel after our last assessment that she had progressed much. In the end, we paid her the $160.00 not because we felt she was right, but because she was not a person we wanted to spend much energy on. I should have known she was not a good fit after I got an awful feeling within the first few weeks of working with her after she wrote a scathing email to the parents about her billing practices. I was shocked by the way she spoke to the parents in her email. If you are looking for someone to be compassionate, loving, and empathetic towards your family and child I would consider looking elsewhere.
