That one-hour drive has been 100% worth it ever since! They've handled several complex dental issues for me that other dentists struggled with--especially when it came to achieving outstanding cosmetic results. The work is always precise, natural-looking, and done with genuine care for both function and appearance. I've never felt rushed or like just another patient; they truly listen and tailor everything to what works best for me. The entire team is exceptional. Dr. Rosen is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and has a calm, reassuring manner that puts you at ease. Amanda and Jeanie are absolute standouts--warm, attentive, and so good at what they do. The front office staff is equally friendly and efficient; they make scheduling and check-ins a breeze. Despite the distance, I'll keep coming back because Wauwatosa Dental Arts simply offers the best dental experience out there. If you're looking for top-tier care, especially for cosmetic or challenging cases, this is the place. Highly recommend--5 stars aren't enough! Thanks to the whole team for taking such great care of me all these years!

The building is relatively small (but not cramped) and completely updated to look like a modern, inviting home. The feeling of home is echoed in the friendliness of each and every staff member. All of them are polite, professional, and friendly. Considering a dentist's office is the LAST place you want to be they definitely go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Both doctor and tech were open about each step without being intimidating. They are genuinely concerned for your comfort and conduct themselves effectively without being heavy handed. Booking an appointment is great. They send email confirmations with calendar entries for convenience. Rescheduling is a breeze. After leaving from a tooth extraction I was unexpectedly given a "gift from the tooth fairy" which included a custom thank you card and a gift certificate for a treat. The finishing touches were amazing on what was already a pleasant visit. Could not recommend them enough.

My final test is whether or not Dr. Blair makes referrals to other very good dentists. I need restorative work so she referred me to a periodontist. I am impressed. She sent me to a good one. If she makes good referrals my trust in her skyrockets. There is a ramp out front and the restroom is handicapped accessible. Looks to be wide enough for a wheelchair user too. I had a miserable experience with the first dentist I found when I moved to this part of town. I am so glad I now have a dentist who I can send friends and family to. No hesitation at all.

I have had fillings and general cleanings and though I don't love getting fillings I always feel that they are careful and accurate in their work.

Firefly Dentistry has NOT been in practice for "over thirty years". Dr. Barry Baumann, my former…read moredentist, was the owner of the practice before Firefly Dentistry bought the current office. I'm sad to say that Firefly Dentistry is not a worthy successor to Dr. Baumann's legacy. I had initial misgivings when I first visited Dr. Sandberg. However, I thought it might be due to seeing a new dentist after the fact that Dr. Baumann was my dentist for so very many years. Dr. Sandberg did a few fillings, two root canals, three crowns, and routine cleanings. I felt pain in two of the crowns with root canals and kept telling him this. He said that I couldn't feel pain, "those teeth have root canals". But the pain continued. I also began to notice he wasn't as attentive, in my opinion. He seemed disinterested. Just a gut feeling, but I've learned to pay attention to gut feelings. I also wondered at a remark of his, "I really want to get a crown on that one tooth!" Then, at my final visit, I was scheduled to see Dr. Sandberg. The hygienist came in and gave my teeth a very cursory cleaning. All the while, she was talking with a new dentist. Then, to my surprise, the new dentist did my exam. I asked why Dr. Sandberg didn't perform the exam and was told "He's busy." The hygienist and dentist talked all during the exam, speaking of "all the new tricks Dr. Sandberg's bringing in, zoom whitening" and other such things. When the COVID-19 pandemic came, I decided I wasn't going back. After I got vaccinated and the restrictions were loosening a bit, I found a dentist with better recommendations. I came to find out that the crowns with root canals that have been hurting me were infected, with bone loss. I had to have them treated by an endodontist. He doesn't *think* I'll need implants. Needless to say, I'm furious. I DO NOT recommend Firefly Dentistry. Stay away!

Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Allmann and her team. I recently moved to the area for school…read moreand needed a new dentist. I had some old issues that I'd neglected to have taken care of and Dr. Allmann did a great job with all of them. Scheduling was super easy and my appointment went very smoothly. Little to no wait time once I got to the office. P.S if you're looking to get a crown done, definitely come here. They do in-house, same day crowns, which I thought was awesome (as opposed to sending out a mold and waiting two weeks for the crown to come back).

I was a patient here for many years, until they stopped accepting my insurance coverage…read more Pros: new offices with all the latest equipment, friendly staff, in-house crown lab (same day crowns - no temporary crowns!). Cons: they don't accept all insurance. And since they have their own lab, they like to wait for little problems to get big enough to justify a crown (rather than manage little problems more conservatively with fillings). They've invested in the lab, so naturally they want to do crowns - sort of a specialty, and the crowns I have gotten from them are very nice - function is great, as well as aesthetics. But my new dentist has pointed out a bunch of little cavities that can be filled right now. This approach should save me money as well as time in the dentist's chair, by postponing (maybe even eliminating) the need for a crown. Bottom line: if they accept your insurance, and you really do need a crown ... go to Tosa Dental; you will be very happy with their work. But if you would rather try to deal with issues earlier when they are smaller, there are other dental practices that do take a more conservative approach.

After the bridge fell out (without any use / food), they refused to return my calls and claimed they had told me it could only last one day. They are incompetent liars. It is absolutely astounding that - in July 2023 - a business could be as ridiculous as this. Everyone with a brain knows that COV is about the same as a cold, that *even according to the CDC* cloth masks due nothing to stop the spread of respiratory viruses, that *even according to the CDC* the "vaccines" do not stop transmission, and that, frankly, they are next to useless. That is part of why *according to the CDC* only 17% of Americans, as of this writing, are "fully-vaccinated" with the latest boosters. I had not seen a sign like this - mandating "masks" - *anywhere* in the area, even at my doctor's office (they were holdouts), for close to a year. Wisconsin Smiles, if you wish to be this uneducated, unscientific, and insulting to your customers, that's of course your right, but do be aware that it will cost you business. I was prepared to take my entire (large) family here, but I'll never be back.
