I'm not sure how this place received more than one star except maybe because the reviews are super old. I went recently and the first thing I noticed was the urine smell. We had already paid and my son was too excited so I couldn't turn back. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long, long time. READ THIS BEFORE VISITING THIS BUSINESS Twice now they've switched their machines and have refused to accept credit which we had paid money for previously. The first time they "graciously" (according to them) gave us about a third of our monies worth. We unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it was a weird situation and they mishandled it as an isolated incident. First visit today with my 2 1/2 y.o. grandson. He had never been to an indoor playground before and this one was perfect for him. I saw reviews that said it was not enough for what it cost, but it was the perfect size for us and had plenty to do in our 2 hour stay. It was not dirty either. We will definitely return. I've been here a couple of times with my 1 & 2 year olds. It's been good overall. The place is fun and a decent size for young kids. I would say it needs a bit of cleaning. The mats seems really dirty for being a "no shoe zone". I really wished parents paid a little more attention to their kids tho. Some parents seem to zone off on their phone or conversations with other parents but forget about their kids. On Saturday it was a lot of that. Older kids running and bumping into younger kids, kicking balls a cross super hard, jumping super tall and hard on the trampoline and would kick younger kids! My 2 year old got kicked twice by older kids. No parents in site. There were like 10 older kids (around 8-10) and it was crazy!! They were taking all the balls out of the ball pit, toys on the structure and just no control whatsoever. I understand kids have energy but it's sad that parents don't pay attention so they learn to respect other bodies around them. The one staff member tried to tell the kids that the balls needed to stay in the pit, they didn't listen and continued to do whatever they wanted. It was sad because there's only so much she could do. It was a disaster. Unfortunately we weren't there for even an hour when I couldn't take it no more. My kids were being kicked, pushed and toys taken away from them. Seriously out of control. It's pricey too, so being there for just under an hour was a bummer. I have been couple other times and those were good! The owner is very sweet and super involved when she's there. The daughter is very sweet as well. Maybe more staff on weekends would help keep the kids (and parents) to keep a more safe environment. read more

I feel like this place has 5 star reviews for people who went just once. We went once and thought it was "amazing " too. Well my husband brought our 3.5 year old and saw the bigger jumpy slides and was told he needed to have a combo pass, which at the little kids section he was never offered that option. So he went back to the little kids section and asked to pay extra to get the combo pass, mind you he JUST came from there and the woman said no re entry. And he said I understand but I'm just asking to pay more so I can bring my daughter to the slides and she just kept saying no re entry and walked away. Screw that. How can you be that unprofessional and rude in front of a child and decline a Customer who wants to pay the company MORE money and you say no?.... When my daughter came home she told me how sad she was and the lady told her and daddy no she can't play. :( read more

I found out about this place when I checked for nearby activities on the app. I think that opening a place like this inside a very depressing mall is a great idea. Though Gavin kept occupied the entire hour, I will not be returning because it's small and nothing was challenging to him. My daughter had a great time and there were a lot of great things for her to do in the toddler play area. Unfortunately, the workers daughter kept taking things from my daughter and saying "mine" and wouldn't let me daughter play with some activities. She would stand in her way. I was hoping the worker would catch on since we were the only family in there and she did nothing until I asked her my daughter needed space. I felt like I was in their home instead of a general play area for kids. I believe the owner asked me if the workers daughter did anything which left me in a very uncomfortable position so we just decided to leave. We will still give the business another opportunity but if this occurs again we will have to skip out on it. read more

Birthday plans had fallen through last minute and Su accommodated us with a decorated party room and reserved decorated tables in the main hall. The kids had a blast and everything went perfectly. Poor management and shady behavior. I had my daughter's birthday party there, booked months in advance, with a verbal agreement of the price package. I paid the deposit and then at the end of the party, they charged me for the exclusive package, which was never agreed upon. Further, they illegally went back and used my deposit card information for the charge, unauthorized by me. I presented my emails which had no contract or receipts showing an exclusive party amount estimated cost. The management argued with me in front of the whole party, family and friends, and little kids. I asked to discuss it at a further time and they agreed, but then illegally used a visa on file and charged the wrong amount I didn't agree to. All my friends will not be having parties there and I recommend you don't either. Incident was reported and disputed and under investigation. One star because the kids did enjoy the bouncy. read more

My toddler daughter enjoyed her time there. However do not like that they want to charge you again, if you step-out of the playground facility in the same day. The location is in the mall it would be convenient if you could have your children play before your shopping. Take a break, and then return to play a second time to the playground facility. We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party at the Giggles N Wiggles Bounce and Arcade. It was the perfect place for a kids party as everything is enclosed and there is so much room for the kids to run around and jump on all the structures without too much parental supervision. Some of the smaller kids had to have an adult with them, but most of the kids over 3 were fine on their own. We had about 70 people (32 kids) and we all fit easily inside the space. We really appreciated the staff for making everything so easy for us to set up and break down. We were given a half hour before the party to set up with the help of the staff. They provided the table cloths, some balloons, and plenty of tables and chairs for our large party. The staff offered help at every turn. Breakdown was super simple as we were just expected to take what we wanted to keep and leave the rest for the staff to clean up. Everyone was super helpful and our guests all had a fabulous time! I highly recommend this venue for kid parties! read more

My toddler son loves it here! He loves the big slide into the ball pit the most. I also like how they have so many activities from cars, to toys, to trampoline, to kitchens to obstacle corse. We spend two fun filled hours there. We look forward to returning. Update: we went back and my son 22 months still lives it but I feel it needs a good cleaning and many of the 0-3 toys that are supposed to make sounds don't work and need new bAtteries. This is one of the best indoor play areas we've ever been to. There are toys and activities for all ages. Especially pleased that they have a dedicated area for kids 0 to 2, protecting them from older kids. The toys and options in this section are very age appropriate, AND includes a bouncehouse!!!! Too often bouncehouses seem to only be available for kids who are 3 and up. The good thing is younger tots can play in older kids areas with guardian supervision and everything is super safe. They've created a very inviting, cozy, and CLEAN space. Play surfaces are cleaned every 30 minutes. And if kids put toys in their mouths then those toys are immediately moved to a bin for disinfecting. Hand sanitizer is readily available. Wish we had one of these back home! read more

Today was so great at Giggles. I'm tired and really running on empty always figuring out ways to tire my kids out. This place being freshly opened up again was exactly what we all needed. They made friends, explored, ran around and ended the day hungry and tired. I've always liked this sweet little place, but after Covid I'm even more grateful. I love the offering of snacks, the laid back atmosphere and the ability to just relax while they play. My only wish is that the place we're bigger. We brought summer camp kids here 4 times this summer. Sometimes up to 80 kids. It was very organized and she let us rotate through the three rooms of fun: a little kid area, a bounce house area and an arcade. All areas were safe , colorful and dynamic. A great spot for a party. We threw the most awesome birthday party for my son turning 7, thanks to GNW. We rented the place for $275; this covered the deposit and 20 kids for 2 hours. I didn't expect anything else, however, what we also got was two of the most thoughtful, caring hostesses to help with the entire party, and a fully set up room for the party. The owner started by emailing me that morning to see what kind of balloons we would like to match the party. When we arrived thirty minutes early to do set up, the employees had already had put up balloons, table covers, and a private room with tons of tables, balloons, and wall decorations. I was so relieved and blown away that we didn't need to do any of that. Also, while setting up, the two women played with my kids so I didn't have to watch them. Then during the party, one continuously checked in to making sure everything was going smoothly and then told us when our time was coming close to an end so we had time to clean up. When it was 2pm, we got our stuff, and the one employee cleaned everything else up that we didn't get to. The one thing I would suggest you bring is cash to tip them. They don't expect it at all, but they are worth it and should receive something for how fantastic they are. read more

This is only about the toddler section. We did not go to the other side. Recently took my 18 month old since it's been a little cold and wet for outside play. My kid is that crazy non-stop kid that has no sense of danger or fear of getting hurt. He's like a bumper car, I swear, and this place was GREAT for him. He ran around like a madman for an hour. My husband and I take turns watching him just to make sure he doesn't kill himself but within a few minutes, he had grasped the idea of the structures and was a pro at them, giving us a chance to not be hella-helicopters. Luckily, we went on a slow day but I'll definitely bring him back. He absolutely had a BLAST. I will say, I read reviews before going and most of the cons in previous reviews have been addressed. There is a gate so that kids don't run out or to merchandise section. There is seating area lined up on the side, giving parents a chance to see even the back of the area. Restrooms had potty seats and step stools available for smaller children. And I did not see any tvs so there's no more issue with screen time. We did ask for info about their parties and will definitely consider it when it's time for a 2nd birthday. Overall, we'll definitely be back. read more

Went for the first time today, and overall, my son had a good time. Being a list person, I'll put my pros and cons in that format: :) Pros: -Place is clean -Large enough area for kids to enjoy -Equipment is fun and safe -Was able to keep a general eye on my child from many angles while he played -Snacks available for purchase but didn't buy any Cons: -first and foremost is the "shopping" area at the front of the store. I'm coming to this establishment to let my kid have a good time while I can relax a little. It's not relaxing when I have to monitor if he is running over there and touching the merchandise. It's mostly purses and some odds and ends. If I want to buy a purse, in in the mall and I'll look elsewhere. It's schizophrenic to have a shopping area in a kids play place. Take it out and put more seating for parents. -The layout was not thought out well. My friends were constantly running out by the door to keep their kids inside. The check in table should have been placed at the front of establishment and then you have to go through a half door in order to enter. This keeps the kids in one area so you don't have to run around to keep them inside. Not only that, but they placed toys for purchase near the front door. What kid doesn't want to play with that and then head right out the door? I've seen many other play place establishments with a better layout that gives parents peace of mind that their kid isn't going to run out the door. -Small potty seats that can be placed on top of the toilets would be nice as most kids playing here are too little to sit on the actual seats by themselves. These seats aren't expensive and would help especially when a mom has two little ones and has to hold one kid on the toilet while trying to actually hold the other little one in her arms. -There isn't enough Seating BY the play structure for parents. There is some seating by the front door, but if the owners are wanting parents to supervise their own kids, then having decent seating around the play structure would help. There were many parents, myself and friends included, that were in the play structure just to keep an eye on our kids. This made the whole place feel a little crowded. Overall, our kids had an enjoyable experience. Because of the issues i stated above, it wasn't easy to have conversations with my friends. I've been to places where myself and my friends could bring our kids, let them play, know they are okay and safe, all while we were engaged in conversation. This place is fun, and your child will love it, but you might leave a little frazzled. We will go back but it won't be a weekly thing. read more

It's honestly relaxing and I always feel calm because it is super secure that I can watch from a distance if they were to try leaving the location even then there is a little locked gate that has to be unlocked before getting out. I had some time to kill while on vacation in Santa Cruz and found this gem. My 3-year-old son had a great time in the several hours we were there. He played on the indoor playground and made a bunch of new friends, he danced during the scheduled dancing activity, made some cool art during art time, watched some kids shows on TV, and partook int he glorious snacks they have available - all the while, I got tons of work done on the free wifi. I had a birthday party at this establishment today for my 1 year old granddaughter and myself and my family could not have chosen a better place for this celebration. The ladies tht work there today we excellent in doing their job to assist me and my guest. They were helpful respectful beautiful and full of smiles. I have chosen some places in the past for my kiddos b-day parties and giggles and wiggles by all means was the best choice. I hope to do it again soon. Honestly, I have no idea how this place got 4 or 5 stars from anyone! It is so poorly made, with no specific age in mind. My 16 months old fell and hurt herself twice in the little kiddies area! Most of the toys don't even work, there are 2.5 bounces for the older kids. Also, why in the world are the 2 play area separate?? Thank goodness for this place and the MOD - saving parents on rainy days! Ball pit, climbing structures, trampoline, bouncy castle; everything your 2-4year old would want. It's certainly not as extensive as other similar spaces, but that means it's not as big, loud, and crowded. I particularly appreciate that they sell snacks, wipes, and spare clothes - staving off emergencies for parents! And the free WiFi is a nice bonus for parents. :) My only complaint is the TV in the Littles area playing cartoons - we stayed out of it to avoid screentime... read more

My children and I have been loyal customers to Giggles N Wiggles, until an unfortunate interaction with one of the establishments "employees". She said her name was Sarah. She was aggressively approaching myself and my guests (an elderly woman, and my daughter) about not using their bathroom. She ranted about how she was at the other building, watching us on the cameras! First of all that's creepy. Second of all, her approach and aggression was unwarranted. We explained that we were just letting my six year old go to the bathroom. Which he has done comfortably in that establishment on several occasions. The owners of the place. I can't remember her name...she's a very kind and generous Asian woman. She makes you feel at home, and treats people with respect. Her hired staff unfortunately, needs much training in customer service, and just manners in general. Sara was an angry, confrontational teen. And she shouldn't work around children. The other owner of the establishment, a gentleman who fixes all the games is really kind as well. He always gives my son free tokens when he services a machine. Just a token or two, that brightens up my child's day. Management/ownership is great. But your staff is grossly horrible. Parents beware. read more

We were visiting Santa Cruz, but the boardwalk/beach was too cold for our little ones, so we found Giggles-N-Wiggles on Yelp. We took the kids and were the first ones there. The waiver process is electronic and it was easy to fill out. My kids (Ages 2 and 1) had a great time. The staff was great as well. The only downside was attempting to get there (I don't even know if it's Giggles-N-Wiggles' fault) because when I clicked on the directions in my Yelp app it took me to an elementary school down the street, even though the address clearly states Giggles-N-Wiggles is in the mall. If we go back to Santa Cruz we'll definitely go back. read more

We love 'The Giggles' (as we call it)! We spend hours n hours there. The kids have fun while I rotate between playing with them and visiting with the other parents. The snacks they sell are a great variety, plenty of healthy choices as well as a few sweet treats. It's also very clean and comfortable. The hardest part is getting the kids to leave! 3 stars because there is nowhere and nothing for small kids in this town. One star if it were anywhere else. It's pricey, 7 bucks per baby yes BABY and 8 bucks per small child. No time limit but let's face it the kids won't last there more than an hour possibly two. The employees freak out when the kids throw balls out of the ballpit and the walls etc all look like its an old hallmark or something. Baby area has no gate. Baby bouncer or tummy time blankets are an additional 5 bucks. Cha ching! They don't do bday parties so just open play. All in all underwhelmed and unless they have coupons or discounts I don't think it's amazing. We were in town with family and saw their grand opening sign in the mall. Great place for kids! Our nephews had a blast and didn't want to leave even after we were there for hours. Very clean too which was a plus! Definitely will bring the littles whenever we're in town. They also have lots of drinks and snacks since you'll basically be here until you can convince the kids to leave haha read more
