My sister was visiting from Australia, my mom lives in Whittier and we are in Redondo beach. We all drove to Long Beach excited. Our grand total was $440.00 We got there at 3 pm and our instructor Katie didn't even introduce herself. She had run out of sugar for the scrubs and essential Oils, her essential oils were so cheap and watered down. The ass ended at 3:32 PM. So we were shorted 58 minutes. She didn't even have proper containers for us and used tape to hold our scrub together, which we warmed her it won't hold and she disregarded our concerns. The scrub ended up leaking all over our car. We complained via email to Shelly the owner , who offers us a make up class. We advised her logistically it would be too hard to get everyone together And asked for a refund . She refused and gave us back $120 which in my opinion is a joke. We had asked for 50% minimum. Our whole evening was ruined because of this horrible company. There are so many other better businesses please do not give your money to this establishment. I wish we had been warned and should have realized when after 4 years of being open they only had 15 reviews on yelp. Save yourself the time, money and hassle

Our kids always come home excited to share what they learned and created, and you know it's a great place when they keep asking to go back! We also really appreciate the convenient location and class times, which fit perfectly with our family's schedule. Highly recommend for parents looking for a fun, creative, and welcoming environment for their kids.

My son is 6 years old and has been attending since he was 5, and the impact has been incredible. He now LOVES art and even says he wants to become an artist when he grows up all thanks to Mrs. Shab. She has created such a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment where kids feel supported and confident to express themselves creatively. Each week, he's introduced to different artists, techniques, and mediums, and I'm always blown away by what he creates. He has learned so much, and the quality of the artwork is amazing. I literally keep every single piece, and I've even framed one because it was that good! If you're looking for the best kids art classes, creative camps, or an art studio in Rossmoor or Los Alamitos, I cannot recommend Colorz Kidz enough. We've signed him up for every camp and will continue weekly classes because it's been such a positive experience. So grateful we found Colorz Kidz.

My son and daughter have been taking piano lessons here for nearly a year. The setup at this studio…read moreis that parents wait outside in the waiting room while the children go in with the teacher. There are cameras in the lesson rooms, but parents do not have access to them, only the business owner does. Occasionally, I would sit in with my children, but later I was asked to remain in the waiting room as the teacher felt the kids distracted each other. Recently, a very concerning incident occurred. My son told me that during his lesson, his teacher showed him an image to demonstrate "good posture." When he first described it to me, I wasn't sure what kind of picture it was, and I initially gave the teacher the benefit of the doubt. However, when I later asked Miss Lee (the owner) and the teacher to show me the same image, I was shocked to see what it was. The picture had no real connection to piano playing or posture and, in my opinion, was completely inappropriate in the given context, especially considering it was shown to my son alone in a room with his male teacher. To be clear, the photo itself was not offensive on its own. What made this troubling was the context and lack of relevance to piano instruction. I felt it crossed a boundary of professionalism. I brought this issue directly to both the owner and the teacher on Friday, August 29th, and was told that it would be reviewed with their board. I am sharing this so that other parents are fully informed about the environment and practices here. Every parent has the right to decide what they are comfortable with for their child's lessons, and for me, this situation raised serious concerns.

Nick was my son's piano instructor and he was absolutely brilliant and patient. My son has learned so much going once a week with Nick. I saw nothing but professionalism with my son. I recommend this place to all colleagues and friends with children. You can see how talented the instructors are and how well the children learn and grow from watching the performances every year. My son grew so confident thanks to Nick who encouraged him so much. As parents, you could most definitely sit-in on with your child during lessons. It's a choice you make as a parent to wait in the lobby is sit with your child. There are cameras in every classroom. It feels safe and comfortable environment. That has been my own personal experience here.
