She was very professional and polite. Secondly, the art kits were packaged nicely. Everything came in one little pack: the canvas, the brushes, the paint colors that correspond with the photo, and an apron that was easy to put on the kids. I will say this- it was a group of mostly 6/7 year olds. The attention span for this age group is... not quite long. However, the kids were all focused on painting. It was so quiet. At a party! They took pride in their work and enjoyed that the photo was already printed on the canvas. Other parents commented on how neat everything was and honestly it made the party a unique and fun experience. The best part is that the kids get to take their art work home! My daughter has attended several different drama programs but she says EA is by far her favorite! In the summer program, kids get to enjoy a well rounded day of acting, singing, dancing and crafting. The teachers and staff are super friendly, and you can just tell they really enjoy being around the students. They offered my daughter a free trial class, which I really appreciated because we could see if she enjoyed it before committing. The packages are for 4, 8, or 12 sessions, and if you go with 12 or more there's a small discount too, which is nice. The classes focus on hands-on art for K to 6th graders, but they also teach how to use different materials like watercolor, oil pastels, dry pastels, acrylics and more so it's not just simple crafts. They also have technique-focused classes for older kids, like around 4th grade and up, which sounds great for when my daughter gets older. My daughter has been attending Canvas Studio for about two months and has been loving it. She is still in lower elementary so she's more into fun projects and trying new materials right now, but maybe I'll sign her up for the technique classes too in a few years.
