We found Averyboo in the pandemic and have been absolutely loving the zoom awesome art classes! Trust me - it's not like any other boring zoom thing. They are well organized, engaging, and it's easy to see the art table. My 7yo looks forward to them every week!

My son and daughter have been taking piano lessons here for nearly a year. The setup at this studio…read moreis that parents wait outside in the waiting room while the children go in with the teacher. There are cameras in the lesson rooms, but parents do not have access to them, only the business owner does. Occasionally, I would sit in with my children, but later I was asked to remain in the waiting room as the teacher felt the kids distracted each other. Recently, a very concerning incident occurred. My son told me that during his lesson, his teacher showed him an image to demonstrate "good posture." When he first described it to me, I wasn't sure what kind of picture it was, and I initially gave the teacher the benefit of the doubt. However, when I later asked Miss Lee (the owner) and the teacher to show me the same image, I was shocked to see what it was. The picture had no real connection to piano playing or posture and, in my opinion, was completely inappropriate in the given context, especially considering it was shown to my son alone in a room with his male teacher. To be clear, the photo itself was not offensive on its own. What made this troubling was the context and lack of relevance to piano instruction. I felt it crossed a boundary of professionalism. I brought this issue directly to both the owner and the teacher on Friday, August 29th, and was told that it would be reviewed with their board. I am sharing this so that other parents are fully informed about the environment and practices here. Every parent has the right to decide what they are comfortable with for their child's lessons, and for me, this situation raised serious concerns.

Nick was my son's piano instructor and he was absolutely brilliant and patient. My son has learned so much going once a week with Nick. I saw nothing but professionalism with my son. I recommend this place to all colleagues and friends with children. You can see how talented the instructors are and how well the children learn and grow from watching the performances every year. My son grew so confident thanks to Nick who encouraged him so much. As parents, you could most definitely sit-in on with your child during lessons. It's a choice you make as a parent to wait in the lobby is sit with your child. There are cameras in every classroom. It feels safe and comfortable environment. That has been my own personal experience here.

The first time I went we were the only ones there for a while and the owner, Robin was very kind and attentive to us and make us feel very comfortable without being overbearing. It was really great to experience the art time with my daughter in this space. We had done a succulent pot craft. My daughter loved painting her pot, and then adding embellishments from their craft area. They have so many cool art project nights. We definitely plan to keep coming.

The space was safe and welcoming, even for our special needs son! The musical instruments were a beautiful touch! We completed 3 projects and Greg helped EVERY.SINGLE.PERSON in our group! We all felt included and left with a lot of pride and our creative juices flowing. It's in a safe corner location in Bixby with a little area out front to get air or hang out in between projects. This came in very handy for our kiddos to run out some energy. The prices are reasonable and I had a lot more fun here as compared to those wine and paint nights. I mean, don't get me wrong, those are fun too but it doesn't allow for a ton of creativity. So if you're itching to create or explore art for the first time, this is the studio for ya! I would highly recommend this place to anyone (all ages and abilities) for private events, birthday parties, take a class, or just pop in and explore! You won't regret it!

He seemed extremely passionate in what he does! Giving a low rating just because of our experience with front desk staff. We come in super cordial just to be met with stank attitudes. A few weeks after our session, we called the place to follow up on our pieces and the woman on the phone sounded rude about us asking about it. We went to pick up our pieces recently and the woman at the front desk definitely sounded like the one we talked to on the phone, same voice and same unwelcoming attitude. As if our presence ruined her day or us picking up our pieces was such a drastic request for her to do.

Your $180 monthly membership does not include firing you glazed piece (that cast extra) and you will need to give a 30 day notice ( even though you will not be using the membership at all like in my case where I am unable to). I broke my finger 2 days after I started, so I could not use this membership for weeks in the beginning but did not complain. This was my problem. But... all together I have used the facility one time and then had personal issues that prevents me from using it now. I did not see the 30 day notice and am paying because I did sign it. It seems much like grifting. There is no downside for the studio (not using equipment so no wear and tear) except the loss of my monthly payment. Perhaps this sounds like sour grapes but I truly do not understand this extra month of payment besides they must think they need my money worse than I do.
