It was your standard clean nail place, and I have no complaints other than it was kinda hot in there that particular day. Tbh, I might actually like Honey Bee better than the place I usually go because pricing is more transparent (and comparable), and I can schedule online, which is something I can't do at my usual place but, as an introvert, something I always wished I could do. I feel like there might be less polish options than other places here, but I get overwhelmed with too many options anyway, so that wasn't really a negative for me. They had OPI, and that's all I needed. I got just a plain no-chip with a party nail, short and square, but from the looks of other photos, it appears they can do some pretty intricate designs as well. I was too nervous to ask for it this time, but I might want to look into that more in the future. Additional points for being close to Target, PetCo, and Jewel, so I can get all my errands completed in one day. I'm pretty sure I'll be back, maybe even as a regular. I went here for a massage and a cupping treatment which I had done previously.. I tell her I want a cupping treatment and a 60 min swedish table massage vs the alternative (deep tissue.) I'm sore to touch so I needed a more relaxing feel with less pressure. I tell her before services had begun that I had bruising on my lower back and that she needs to avoid it as much as possible as it is sore to touch. She asked me for payment before my treatment and I didn't question it because I had gone here before and usually didn't have an issue besides her being pushy with tips. We walk into the room.. She didn't give me enough time to even undress myself (down to just bottoms as a PERSONAL preference) so when I was shimmying on the table NUDE she barges in and laughs. She tells me to take off my bottoms and I tell her "No, I want to keep them on." She asks me again and I repeatedly stated to her "No." She shakes her head and continues into the most agonizing massage I have ever had. She rubbed me so hard that I formed even more bruising on my back. Multiple times I had to tell her to stop touching my lower back because it hurt. I had to remind her to use lotion during the massage too because I could've sworn she was trying to give me a friction burn. She didn't leave me covered with a sheet when she was done rubbing an area, and the whole thing felt uncomfortably bare. When I thought the massage from hell was coming to end, she brought out the cupping glasses. This she's done to me before and I've had typically no issues from it... Until she decided to stick 4 cups DIRECTLY onto my lower back on my bruised spine. I shrieked and cried in pain as she stuck these to me. I told her "NO! TAKE IT OFF!" immediately with tears streaming down my face and this woman LAUGHS. She laughed in my face and said "5 more minutes, you can do 5 more minutes." as she suctions even more cups to my upper back. I said "NO! NO! NO! Take these off!" as I'm pointing to my lower back and crying. As all of that happens another worker comes into my room unannounced, laughing at me as well. 2nd girl leaves still laughing and the masseuse finally takes the lower suction cups off of me. I'm still sitting there nude, crying with glass adhered to my back. I'm paralyzed, vulnerable, and alone.. supposed to be relaxing... after she took the other cups off, I got my clothes back on and as I'm trying to leave she positioned herself between me and the door. She then berates me for a $20 tip after a terribly negligent service where she put me into tears. Not only classless but quite literally lacks empathy. NEVER GO HERE. There has not been another salon I would recommend to friends or family since I met my superheroes almost a decade ago. This is the cat's meow for prompt professional service that results in the least amount of lost time in my very busy schedule. They have very long hours of operation & take appointments. Sometimes even little to no wait as a walk-in depending on holidays or busy times of the year of course. The best thing about here too is EvErYoNe does a great job shaping eyebrows. I've been seeing my same stylist (Caty) since I started coming almost a decade ago & haven't seen any turnover. It's nice to be at a friendly salon where everybody knows your name and you know theirs.
