Gigi's Comfort Food is a small, locally owned lunch spot that draws a crowd for a reason. I ordered the meatloaf, and it did not disappoint! The portion was generous, and it had that homemade taste you hope for in a comfort meal. This place is awesome. My husband and I just finished our lunch here... we tried the two daily specials - spaghetti and fried catfish. Both were awesome and the fried fish was crispy and hot! For sides, we got the green beans, cabbage, fried okra, and mac n cheese. You also get a choice of roll or cornbread, so we got one of each. Every item was fresh and tasted homemade. The cabbage was amazing. Everything was SO good and the people working there were incredibly friendly and helpful. I came here on a Monday for some fried chicken. It's been awhile since I've been and even though I'm on a low carb diet I love fried chicken and supporting small businesses. I lucked out cause it looks like they only serve it on Mondays and Thursdays. This is probably the best fried chicken in the area and I've tried the other places that specialize in cooking it. What a sweet little gem in "downtown" Warner Robins! The food was delicious. I had smothered pork chops and they were fork tender. The mac-n-cheese was like Grandma's, nice and cheesy. And the greens were both a little sweet and a little spicy. The actual dining room is small but very well decorated. I loved meeting Miss GiGi and her crew. Ordered the fried chicken and collard greens and for the price I paid it was definitely worth it! The chicken was made to order and was super juicy. And the collard greens we made were the best that I have ever had!. The staff were helpful, friendly and simply amazing! We had to request a full set of silverware for one of our party of 4 and knives for the rest. The music was so loud we were unable to carry on a conversation.
