I had also met with two other florists (one wholesaler who worked out of her own home, the other a well known florist in Sidney), but nothing (price, attention to detail, customer service) compared to Jennings. Rob is a really fun guy to talk to about wedding flowers as he is truly enthusiastic about the line of work he is in. I had a rough idea of what I wanted for wedding flowers/designs, but Rob is the only florist who truly listened to me and my thoughts and gave suggestions where his expertise was helpful. Other florists suggested designs that weren't what I truly wanted, and one even tried to suggest I buy the flowers from her and do the work myself! Ha, on my wedding day (or even the days leading up), I didn't want to be responsible for that. Rob took the reigns, and I can't express enough how fantastic he was to work with. The big day arrived, and I was truly blown away by the scope of the flowers we ordered. From the bouquets to the altar arrangements to the centerpieces, Rob truly captured my vision and then some. Not only that, but he had backup blooms in the event we had a floral emergency. We didn't - but I'm thankful that he was prepared. Rob delivered and set up flowers for our ceremony, and then returned when the venue had to re-set the room from the ceremony to reception. Now THAT is dedication! If you're getting married and looking for a florist who does an amazing job in all aspects, I urge you to be in touch with Rob. He's easy to work with and absolutely has a passion for his line of work!

It was fairly late in the day (maybe 8?) so there weren't a ton of people out and about. This store has good pricing and a nice variety of typical tourist gifts - tee shirts, ornaments, small items that say "Canada" on them, etc. We found some tees and ornaments for some family members and made our way to the register. The two salesladies seemed a little distracted, but it could have been a busy day and towards the end of their shift so I cut them some slack. I didn't check out any other stores to know where their pricing stands, but it was definitely reasonable compared to the prices at home.
