The other day I called several times, listened thru the automated message & then each time sat on hold for quite some time before being disconnected! The following day I tried again at 4:30. And the message said they were not taking calls, that the "on call" team was covering. I thought this weird since their closing time is listed at 5:30, 7:30 & 9:30 pm- depending on the day. Finally, the next day I found a number for one of the nurses there & was able to leave a voicemail. I received a call back today. When I relayed the extreme difficulty I had trying to reschedule an appt to this support staff/scheduler I received a chuckle & was matter of factly told it was normal that no one answers the phones after 4:20 pm since that is when they stop taking calls & refer everything to the "on-call" team. This was news to us! Then why bother listing their "open" hours as being a full hour past that time, 2 hours past that time & 5 hours past that time-- depending on the day? So in summary, the telephone triage system is VERY inconvenient to navigate, and usually results in long wait times and disconnects/hang ups. And patients should know that they stop answering the phones for non-emergencies at 4:30- regardless of their posted hours.

Every visit has been truly lovely. Each staff member welcomes each patient, introduces themselves, explains what will happen at each step in the process, and provides little things for comfort like a warm blanket while napping in preparation for a contrast CT. Always calm, smiling, comforting and attentive. All appointments have started exactly on time which helps relieve anxiety as there is no stressful waiting. The facility is spotless and so beautiful. It does not feel like a hospital at all. Nice cafeteria for a snack afterwards. Free parking, too. Shout out especially to Ms. Lavin for a really extraordinary and helpful educational session today. If you should have a need for a medical genetics consult I highly recommend Christina Lavin! And thank you to medical assistant Janice for the quick and painless blood draw today. The whole team here goes above and beyond for their patients. Thank you!!

I debated posting this for so long. I began my IVF journey with dr Reinhart in 2017. He was…read morewonderful. We had to freeze our embryos due to career changes and returned in 2021 with Dr Rana. Dr Rana was amazing and had a successful pregnancy without a hitch. He was so comforting, caring and understanding. He took his time to listen to us and was extremely helpful as they were still strict Covid protocols in place during this time. I returned again in 2023 for another transfer, during that time Dr Rana unfortunately passed and I was handed off to Dr Victoria. She was dismissive from the start. After a few surgeries that she related I need for a "successful" transfer were completed we had an unsuccessful transfer. We had 1 embryo left but decide to do another egg retrieval. We had another transfer which thankfully was successful but not uneventful . During this time I had heavy bleeding and I kept calling the office and the nurse Sophia and Dr Victoria were very dismissive saying that it was implantation bleeding. Mind you I was soaking through pads. This went on for 8 weeks. On what was supposed to be my last appointment before handing me over to by obgyn I walked into the building and I felt like was bleeding heavier then usual. I was. I went into the office and told the front desk and I was escorted into a room I laid there beeping for 10-15 mins. My husband and I thought we miscarried. Dr Victoria walked and immediately says she so sorry and these things happen. The ultrasound tech also came in with her and performed an ultrasound. On the screen we see the baby and heart beat. I was then diagnosed with subchorionic hematomas. I could've been diagnosis earlier if they would have listen when I told them continuously about the bleeding. Nurse Sophia called me the following day and asked me to increase my progesterone when I asked why, her response in the most snarkiest tone was, "well cause your bleeding." I understand that but maybe a clinical explanation as to how it would helped would have been wonderful. I stayed another week and at this point I began to have morning sickness. We discussed options and I expressed my concerns with Zofran. She looks at me, throws her hands up in the air and says, "another one." I just went through something traumatic so yes I would be very concerned. She had this dismissive behavior during the entire time I was there. I couldn't wait to be discharged from that office. I hope this helps anyone is going through fertility issues so you don't have to be more stressed during an already stressful time. I'm grateful for my two children but the way I was talked to and how I was made to feel was uncalled for.

She was almost an hour late for my egg retrieval and that was the only other interaction I had with her for a whole minute. And when I got my results, she did not contact me. It was some random nurse I had never spoken with before. In fact, I didn't even have 1 or 2 consistent nurses I'd be in contact with. There would be multiple. For such an intimate and personal thing to go through, this clinic doesn't see you as anything more than a number. And during my results virtual appointment, Dr. T wasn't the one to tell us our results or discuss this with us, it ws some random nurse we had never met. This just shows the level of care Dr. T has for her patients. Instead, we met with some random nurse we had never met. We had asked this nurse what we could have done differently. She had a whole list of things. My question is, given my age and the lack of time I have to get any good eggs, why didn't they provide me with this list during my initial retrieval with them? I had 2 other doctors in other clinics look at the protocol that was given to me and they both said they were shocked by Dr. T's approach and how much she pumped me up. I had OHSS after it, and it was an awful experience. I will never visit this clinic again. Also I didn't have success with my egg retrieval.

My first son had died, suddenly, when I was in early labor while I was in the hospital. I was so scared but wanted a baby so badly. Not only did he give me and my daughter the best care, he managed to calm all of my fears. I will forever be indebted to this man for the beautiful young woman in my life today. He brought her into the world. She is about to be an attorney for special interests and wants to help those who are less fortunate. After my daughter was born, Dr. Zucker also caught an early case of cancer and took care of it right away. My cancer came back and it wasn't caught until it metastasized. We moved to Peoria because of my husband's job. I am lucky to be alive today and only see gyne oncologists because they monitor my cancer status. Dr. Zucker didn't miss anything. He even caught autoimmune disease markers in me for Lupus and that has helped because I have rheumatoid arthritis and sjogrens, which was caught sooner than the average person because of Dr. Zucker. His staff was also exceptional and everyone was so kind and caring. If you need a good gynecologist that cares about patients as human beings, I would recommend Dr. Zucker to any woman.

So I called for an appointment and was told she could see me on August 18 (today is July 2). I have prescriptions that have to be monitored and maintained, and I also have a very painful issues with my arm. I don't think either can wait for August 18. They are two separate appointments and they won't combine them: one is "to establish care" and the other is an illness visit. Once I see her as a "wellness visit" on August 18, I would be able to "get in quicker" to see her in the future. For now, if I'd like to be seen and monitored by "someone else" who has more availability in their schedule I could do that. Well, I've had a terrible experience with a doctor in Chicago that left me with ongoing medical issues that could have been prevented. So I did my research and selected someone I felt I could trust. I was so very lucky to have that in New Orleans (from where I just moved) and I just wanted that again. I don't really want to see "someone else" that I don't know anything about and waiting 6+ weeks to see a doctor I researched heavily. So while I can't really rate Dr. Boyd herself, this is a warning to those who are looking for a doctor: even though her site says she is accepting new patients, I don't think she really has time for them. Be sure you can wait six weeks before seeing her if you choose her. I get why she's busy -- she's good. But why advertise that you're accepting new patients when you really don't have time for someone who needs you?

DULY does not give a damn about patient care, all they care about is cutting corners and making a huge profit. They're the worst medical system in the United States. I have no complaint about the doctors, as they're good, but it's the DULY health system that's rotten. Ever since they took over DuPage Medical, it went downhill fast.
