A Gyn was the first on the list and not easy to find. How does one pick from a listing of names covered by insurance? And, how does an over 50 woman find a Gyn who is not focused only on the baby making years? After a couple of poor choices on my part, I found Dr. Bressler. I think I'm a tough-cookie of a patient, because I have lots of questions and lots of opinions of my own. What I truly want in a doctor is someone who continuously educates herself on her practice, is available for appointments, will answer urgent questions, and when she answers--will do so with direct and well though-out answers. Dr. Bressler is exactly that doctor. She helped my find a primary care physician also, and her team is helpful and friendly. One more thing...I was not familiar with DuPage Medical Clinic before my first appointment with Dr. Bressler. Over the last year, I have visited an internist, a dermatologist, and had several recommended tests (for aging women). Each appointment with each department at DuPage Medical has been timely--I mean, I haven't had to wait longer than 15 minutes, if that. As a personal warning to other women, I did not feel I was respected nor my health concerns addressed with respect or medical-based advice.

I get there and I was asked by staff what do you want us to draw for? I said whatever the dr thinks after examining me. She looked confused, left the room and someone else came in. She said we will do it all. I said even b12 and vit d? She said yes we are comprehensive here. Then I was put in consultation room NOT exam room. The APN or whatever she was said results should be back in 2 to 3 days and you're all set. I said no I'm here for an exam! She said we don't have you down for one. I explained that I wanted to be examined because of growing lumps. She said mammo and ultrasound were benign nothing to worry about. I had to fight with her to examine me! Then we walked thru the halls asking staff members which room we could use like it was such an inconvenience. She examined me and said nothing to worry about. I got bloodwork back and vit b12 and vit d not on it. It was a typical blood draw of cbc cup and tsh only. I didn't feel comfortable about their answers so went somewhere else. Stage 3 breast cancer!!! If they would have listened to me and done their job and ordered more tests I would have been diagnosed much earlier and had a higher survival rate!

What a hassle! However, the TRE reception staff were amazingly helpful. Mary Ann Stephens was especially helpful. After several phone call attempts that ended in failure, Mary Ann offered to walk down to the other office and speak with them personally. Wow! That kind of customer service doesn't happen much any more. My appointment was "old school". We chatted and got acquainted before I undressed for the comprehensive physical. I had a list of questions that I had been saving for my annual appointment. Dr. Kim answered the ones that applied to her expertise and at no point did I feel rushed. Dr. Kim was knowledgeable and patient, pointing out a couple of lifestyle changes I should make, along with discussing her specialty area. I have no idea why I had not heard about Dr. Kim and her staff prior to this, but this is truly a wonderful medical office.

I was a little apprehensive about a male doctor, but he is such a nice guy! Dr. Weldon delivered my precious little one and she was amazing! I ended up having a c-section and I've heard some horror stories regarding them. Thank God Dr. Weldon is amazing at her job and she did a phenomenal job and I am healing extremely well. If you are pregnant and looking for an OB Tre is a great place to start. The entire staff is super friendly and nice. I love the nurses. They're all so friendly and caring. They gave me a bunch of samples for my little which was greatly appreciated!
