I bought a computer for my car and it came with two uncut keys programed to the new computer. I took the keys to Gilbert Ford to have them cut and Chad the parts manager messed up both keys and won't turn the ignition. "He did it on purpose" they had me tow the car to them and they said it was a faulty computer. I then towed it to hitek auto and they had no problems making the keys. I sold my 2016 Ford F-150 to Gilbert Ford on June 28, 2021 for $28000. My payoff with Wells Fargo was $23,318.63, with a daily interest increase of $3.05. I have contacted the dealership, the salesman that printed off the paperwork and had me sign the bill of sale, about when I could expect to be paid, as every day cost me my profit at a rate of $3 per day. Finally, I looked at my Wells Fargo account on Friday, July 18, 2021, approximately 3 weeks later, and saw that the team at Gilbert Ford had finally gave some money to Wells Fargo. The problem with that was that they had paid it off, except $27.50. I knew that I would not receive my money (I have been without a vehicle as I was waiting on the money to put down on my next purchase) until they had paid off my truck and got the title from the bank. Due to this, I went ahead and paid the $27.50 off, so the title could be sent faster. I sent a text to my salesman about the fact that they didn't pay the payoff cost to Wells Fargo, and that I was paying it. The only response I got was, "Ok, that's strange that there was that small of a balance. I told him that "I (knew) that I can't get my check until you get this title, so I paid it. I need the check". He responded with, "Yes, should be no issues releasing the lien and mailing you a check". He didn't even identify, or accept any responsibility for, the fact that a mistake like that had been made and that the person that was being punished was me, the customer. I am not sure if that was part of the business model, but the fact remains that it is July 23, 2021 and I still have not received any money. The truck is still for sale, they are asking $32,699 for it. They didn't take a picture of it for some reason. I had a nice Westin Sportsman Grille Guard on it, but they probably took it off. I'm rambling now. Anyway, I get on the FLHSMV.gov site today to get my daughters paper title, when I see on the page that my truck is still showing an "electronic with lien" title type. So, I'm trying to figure out why when I called to talk to someone in management, I kept getting put on hold, then I was redirected to the sales manager who didn't take the call. I had to leave a message. So if you go down to Gilbert Ford, and look at my old 2016 Ford F150 for sale for $32,699 (that doesn't include the Dealer Service Fee of $699, the electronic filing fee of $148.93 either. They didn't have to do anything to that truck, I kept it immaculate) look to see if the VIN is 1FTEX1EP8GFC12777. If it is, could you please ask them if they finally paid me my money? They don't seem to want to talk to me. I would give them zero stars, or 5 turd emojis if I could. read more

I had been working with a "Big Dealer" for over a week before they told me that they were not going to be able to find what I was looking for. A buddy of mine that lives up in Palm City, FL said that I should really reach out to Gilbert Ford in Okeechobee. I will forever be grateful that I took his advice. I called the dealership and asked for the Sales Manager. Phil Edwardo answered the phone, asked me what I was looking for and went to work. I had a message in 20 minutes saying that the truck would be in Okeechobee and ready for delivery by 4:00 PM. As soon as the vehicle was located and we were working the deal, he transferred my point of contact over to Michelle, who was equally as great to work with. My wife's leased Ford Fusion was 3 months out from expiring, decided to shop around to buy an SUV and remember someone once telling me that if you travel outside of the city to more remote/quiet towns, you get a better deal. One word, Wow!!!! Let me put it this way, Travis made such an impression, my cheapness was subdued by good old fashioned, down home "CUSTOMER SERVICE". This was my first time buying a Ford, if the buying experience we had with Travis at Gilbert Ford is any indication of our new Ford Flex, this is going to be the best-car-EVER!!!!!! It all started with a Ford Flex Limited we saw online in Okeechobee FL. The car was over a hundred miles away but it was upgraded to the gills, certified pre-owned and thousands of dollars less than any of the comparable Flexes we had seen in our area ($4796 less, to be exact). Brandon and Sarasota Fords just got smoked in price, quality and customer service. The things Travis/ Gilbert Ford did that the others didn't. 1. Travis told me about a 1.99% interest rate, that I qualified for. This alone saved us an additional $1350 in interest. The other Ford dealers never mentioned it. 2. Travis didn't ask me if "I had to have a Limited model". Sarasota and Brandon Ford tried to down grade my car to a more basic model. I was shocked. I felt like they would put you in anything to get their money. 3. After Travis got our financing taken care of with the awesome finance manager (John, who was right about the amazing extended warranty), Travis had a hitch and roof rails added for me. 4. Travis had the paperwork that we needed to sign and my car delivered to my house, FOR FREE. Now remember, I am over 2hrs and a hundred plus miles away. Who does that?? After getting a CHECK ENGINE light and REDUCED ENGINE POWER light on dash took F350 with 20,820 miles to Gilbert. They serviced oil, fuel and def and returned truck to me. 20 miles down road the same light returned. Returned truck and then after having truck 32 days I called FORD in Dearborn MI. Truck was returned on 1/12/17 and 5 miles up the road the same lights reappeared. Called FORD again who suggested I return truck to Gilbert which I refused. Truck has been in driveway for 2 weeks while I figure where to take truck. Service manager, Matt, was not helpful, was arrogant and could have cared less. When I asked for name of regional customer service individual he told us he was that person. So as I ponder where to take this relatively new truck, you should consider above before you take your vehicle to Gilbert Ford. By the way I had a Chevy serviced at Gilbert Chevrolet during same period with outstanding service. read more
