Literally, two days later and no service has been provided (the class doesn't start for weeks). I was told it's part of their terms. When I reminded her I have never been provided her terms, not did I make any agreement to them, she emailed me a copy of the terms. I would not do business with any school this shady. You can even cancel at state schools and colleges if you do it within the timeframe (which they provide upfront).

However, when I showed up for the first day of class, the New Manager, Kelly, tells me that they don't have my son signed up for that class and there's "no room in the class for him to stay". She confirmed that she did in fact see my payment in the system, but not assigned to any specific class because Casey, the former manager, did not assign me to a class even though she told me that I was paying for the Friday class. Ultimately, I decided to not stay with Drawn2Art because I found it ridiculous that they wanted us, the people showing up on time to take the class that they paid for, instead of telling one of the make-up parents that the class is full and to have them reschedule. And no, being in transition into the role is not a valid excuse, especially when you see a payment from us in the system with no assigned class. The manager should have followed up with this at the beginning of the week to ensure that the customer is assigned to a class, and not wait until they show up for class the day of with a you're SOL demeanor.

This workshop is small but full of bright colors and farm house vibe with lots of fun projects to do. We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff and this workshop started promptly with detailed instructions to explore 20 different scents and discussion of their categories. Both Zoe and Elizabeth were super helpful in guiding us to choose adjacent or complimentary scents for our candles, and the hardest part was choosing only 2 scents to make your candle! You reserved this experience online but you can also upgrade to a different containers (a tea cup or pumpkin - so cute!) and add extra candles onsite. The candle will need at least an hour to 2 hours to set so we were free to walk around Orenco station and got to snack and catch up while our candles were drying. My friend was able to pick her up that night but mine was not set yet so I had to come back during the weekend. They have so many cool projects to choose from and a good selection of beverages for purchase. I will definitely be back with other friends to try out other projects in the future. I enjoy the process and within a short period began taking lessons from Ann Bruckner at The mosaic Art Loft in Sherwood. Because of the quality of the art instruction provided by Ann and her excellent staff, I've been privileged to have participated in three community art shows, and two shows at the Springs, and have sold a number of original art pieces; and still taking the occasional lesson from Ann and actively practicing and producing original multi-media art

Our kids absolutely loved coming in and spending every Monday creating. COVID was a challenge for everyone, but Ann and Christina put together an amazing plan to engage with students virtually. While most extra curriculum activities (i.e. sports) were not available, Mosaic Arts Loft provided needed activity to our kids and they were looking forward to their weekly classes. If you are looking at options for your kids in the area - I highly recommend them. I was very impressed the class started with meditation and breathing exercises, then a brief tour of the studio and short explanation of how to begin our own personal process. I love the piece I made: it is nothing like what I usually do, but through talking a bit during class about personal situations, I was able to let some things go and it really shows in my work. I will definitely be returning. Just being in that environment is calming and very welcoming. even if you're not an artist, I would highly recommend giving one of these classes a try.
