While the no-appointment policy may seem quaint or old-fashioned, it came across as disorganized and a waste of their customers' time. It also means sitting in a room full of sick animals. We arrived on time for the appointment, but Dr. Tucci had an emergency & was running very late. Her office staff kept saying "just a few more minutes," which was not true. I wish they had been honest about the unplanned wait. Once Dr. Tucci saw my girl and examined her eye, she didn't pull any punches. She straight forward diagnosed my 7 yr old pit with stage 5 Lymphoma. She then spent the next 2 hours thoroughly going over my girl, reading her medical history and explaining everything to me. She took out a medical book and showed the stages of lymphoma. I was destroyed by the diagnosis, but thought Dr. Tucci could not have been more professional, thorough and compassionate. She is a SHE and she's a beautiful girl who doesn't deserve medical neglect, an unsanitary office, and to be BURNED by her flea medication. The staff was unempathetic and unhelpful with her bleeding mysteriously lumps that appeared after taking anti-biotics. Dr.Machado kept saying "I'm confused" everytime I'd bring up a point or concern!! he just gave her shots to relieve her symptoms and I'm still unsure what skin reaction she has :( few days later and now she's battling a fever. She keeps getting worse after each visit! AND they charge a $10 cleaning fee to not even clean!!!! Look at the scale my cat stepped on. There was random shit stains and baby ticks crawling around. When you arrive, you call in and they pick up your pet at the parking lot (only staff is allowed inside due to COVID19) they kept us informed every step of the way, offered us multiple options for preventative care like heart worm medication and flea/tick prevention. Our bill was under 200 and included tests, assessments, medication, etc. at our old vet the same procedure would b closer to $500. I will definitely come back.
