4/16/26 - Just off phone with inept front office at LVC. When I took my dog in to be checked for…read moreUTI 9/5/25, I had to provide proof of rabies shot. Her last one was injected 5/10/25, it's for ONE FULL YEAR! DIL had to call Animal Protection League to ask them to email a copy of that certification of rabies to LVC so they would provide services, which they DID! However, they FAILED to copy that rabies proof to her file! When I went to Pets Sense for a nail trim, (because LVC is way too high for a nail trim) they asked for rabies cert. I got LVC on phone to provide that. They told groomer that it's been expired for a year!!! That was NOT true! The groomer apologized & I am livid at the sloppy management of client's files at LVC! I went to APL because THEY are affordable & not out to fleece the pet-loving public! I've left 2 detailed messages on their phone for mind-blowing incompetence & inferring I was a L I A R! Please be aware of attitudes & details should you decide to continue with LVC for your pet's future needs!

He had just had his second round of the three rounds of vaccinations at our Vet back home. He wasn't acting right so I took him to the Vet Hospital in town -south end of town - and he tested for Parvo. We were obviously concerned and after a night's stay at the Emergency Vet hospital we took him to Shelley Drive. My meme had taken her dogs there when I was a kid and would visit her from Dallas. They took amazing care of Champ and he has made a full recovery! My wife picked him up today and sent me pictures of him as I'm back in California. Thanks you so much Shelley Drive! You are amazing and have obviously been caring for my family's animals for decades now in one way or another! I'm still shocked at the price....I never would have thought that you would have refunded money from my deposit after all you did for Champ!
