I have been a customer of this clinic for more than 10 years with several different dogs. Most recently I purchased a lab puppy only to discover it had parvo. Though the puppy could not be saved the employees did all they could to try and save him. From the front doors on the employees are so caring and compassionate it is admirable. The facility is attractive and clean. Couldn't have a better overall experience. And all at reasonable fees. I appreciate these folks very much and personally will remain a customer. Our appointment was at a very busy time. So it took a while. The techs and doctor were excellent! We went in on a week day and we were in and out of there very quickly. Also they didn't charge us for the second visit since it was linked to the first one. I am confident they are doing great by us and our dog. read more

4/16/26 - Just off phone with inept front office at LVC. When I took my dog in to be checked for UTI 9/5/25, I had to provide proof of rabies shot. Her last one was injected 5/10/25, it's for ONE FULL YEAR! DIL had to call Animal Protection League to ask them to email a copy of that certification of rabies to LVC so they would provide services, which they DID! However, they FAILED to copy that rabies proof to her file! When I went to Pets Sense for a nail trim, (because LVC is way too high for a nail trim) they asked for rabies cert. I got LVC on phone to provide that. They told groomer that it's been expired for a year!!! That was NOT true! The groomer apologized & I am livid at the sloppy management of client's files at LVC! I went to APL because THEY are affordable & not out to fleece the pet-loving public! I've left 2 detailed messages on their phone for mind-blowing incompetence & inferring I was a L I A R! Please be aware of attitudes & details should you decide to continue with LVC for your pet's future needs! read more

Took my puppy to the Vet for the first time. I had to make an appointment and showed up on time. After being placed in room 1 we waited for nearly an hour. One of the assistants came in and took the puppy to the back after telling me she was going to weigh the dog. After about 20 minutes she brought the puppy back and informed me that innoculations were administered and the Vet would be in to talk with me. The vet came in and told me what they did. After taking my puppy home she became unresponsive and I immediately called the office. They have No after- hours service and I called the breaker and she called her Vet(after-hours!!) I had left a message and got no response from Lindale Veterinarian Office. I took the puppy to the breedders Vet and she gave the dog medicine for the reaction and reported that the Bordettela that was given was not needed and even if the puppy was given this it is for "Boarding puprposes and not needed for this puppy since this puppy will never be boarded and will be the only puppy in the household. The following morning I called the office and they showed Zero sympathy and were rude and argumentative. I would not recommend you Lindale Veterinarian to anyone's pet. . read more

I took 14 year old toy Schnauzer to LVC while volunteering at Tyler State Park. She had developed what was later diagnosed as an egg sized malignancy on her neck. The doctors counseled on the pros and cons regarding surgical removal of the tumor because of her age. Together we decided to go ahead with the surgery from which she came through very well. The staff was caring & compassionate of my concerns and my budget. They called to check on her several times in the following days. Called to get some pricing on a bath and a Nail clipping. Receptionist was very short with me, cut me off to guess at what I'm wanting done and then was very rude when I responded. I said nevermind I will call another vet. Wasn't sure if it was me over thinking it but after reading the other reviews seems like this is a common complaint. The following review was our personal experience and reflects only that. Tried this clinic for 2 visits and one farm call in 2018-2019. (3 appts total) Initially left 2 positive reviews on their personal portal. After the farm call, it became clear that I could no longer in good conscience ever recommend this vet clinic to anyone. At this time I retract my former reviews to say... Summary: -Vet refused to return phone call regarding follow up on farm call. Had receptions call saying I needed to make another appt. for the farm call I had just had. ?? Refused to discuss results. -Charged a blistering $150.00 for a farm call within a short range. (Almost twice as much as some other vets in the area, $75.00 & $80.00 with 2 other vets) -Could not or would not give a diagnosis for a cat seen by them 3 separate times for the same issue. If they did not know, they can say this, that is ok. No comment by them on why no advancement or change in treatment for this animal. - Poor communication. -Strange to have security cameras in the private exam rooms. I recently had to euthanize my 13 year old yellow lab. He was around 100 pounds and very arthritic so we couldn't get him into a vehicle. Dr. Smith has been making house calls for us for about a year and a half. She has helped us to manage his pain and gastric issues. On this particular day that we knew that it was time, Dr. Smith had a very full schedule with surgeries and appointments. I explained to the office staff that my husband was going out of town and that I would not be able to lift my sweet dog should he get down and not be able to get up. The office staff told me that they would talk to Dr. Smith when she came in. She was able to squeeze us into her busy schedule even though it was a lengthy house call. She was so kind and patient with us during this stressful situation despite the fact that her schedule was packed and she was leaving town the next day. I will forever be grateful to her. read more

My kids and I buried our family friend due to the negligence of this veterinary clinic. We took our 2 mastiffs and 2 Bearded dragons for boarding on Monday, July 18th. We have used this vet for boarding for years to care for our pets during summer vacation. We delivered all necessary items for reptile care - aquarium, lights, crickets, carrots, etc. for our 7 day vacation. Dr. Burns left a message around 4:00 on Sunday, June 24th saying that "it seems we have lost the smaller dragon. We don't have a reason for you at this point." I returned the call, asked for details, asked about their temperature and to pick up our other pets. She said the dragons were fine about 2:00 the previous day and that she lived and hour away and would have to check. I called back and asked what she learned & if I could pick up my pets. She said no one was returning her calls. The owner called around 8:00 pm saying his daughter has dragons and that he didn't know what happened. He said if we go buy another one and brought a receipt, they would reimburse us for another bearded dragon. I explained how callous that response was because you can't replace family members. I added that I had lost confidence in his team and clinic and wanted to pick up my pets. He assured me they would be fine & I said I'll see you at 7:30 am when you open. Around 11:00 pm that night the owner called back asking about our lights & temperature gauges. He said he got to thinkin that the only thing that could've happened was the lights. He said he was taking one of his lights from home because he would hate to lose another one. I said I asked the staff about the lights at 4 and I had asked to pick them up at 4. I asked again to pick them up. He said he had worked all day and had his son with him and that it may take an hour for me to come from Kilgore. The conversation escalated. The owner deflected responsibility and said, "You brought us faulty equipment. I'll see you tomorrow at 7:30!" I said, "I want to be clear. Are you telling me I cannot pick up my pets?". We left our home after 11:00 pm to get our surviving dogs, surviving beardie and our deceased bearded dragon. Upon arrival, the owner immediately asked for payment and offered a heat bulb. I dropped off 4 healthy pets for boarding on July 18th and picked up 3 and the remains of our fourth loved one in a zip lock bag. read more

So sad to be moving to another clinic but this one is just too far from Dallas. We brought an injured dog that we found to the surgeon. They took such amazing care of him - between the surgery and physical therapy he has gone from, basically, a three legged dog as his leg had no mobility at all to a completely normal dog that runs and plays and rolls around. If I ever have a dog who needs a serious surgery again, I'll make the trip out to Lindale for the better level of care. read more

Your website says in bold red letters that you are a 24 hour emergency clinic I regret to say that this has not been my experience. On two different occasions, I have ended up at the emergency clinic in Tyler. One time I was unable to reach the vet on call even though I made her aware that my dog was in the early stages of labor before the office closed for the day and was told she would be on call. After trying to reach her for several hours, I went to the emergency room in Tyler for an emergency c section. When I asked about it, I was told the cell phone service wasn't always available. Another time I was told there would be no doctor on call for the weekend my pups were born. After speaking with the vet about how to avoid this going forward I was told the best way would be to schedule a c section, which I did per the doctors recommendation with the next litter. Just as in humans, it isn't always predictable when mommas will go into labor and I ended up with premature puppies that I fought to keep alive. As far as the vets are concerned, I do not hesitate to say that they are ALL great vets. I have had 8 years of experience with this clinic and other than this issue, I have been pleased with all of them. My suggestion would be to remove the bold red lettering that this is a 24 hour emergency vet clinic and refer to your clinic as 24 hour client services available as is stated in the smaller lettering at the bottom of the website. I don't mind making appointments when it's necessary, but when I want to just ask a simple question over the phone about how much allergy over the counter medicine to give and I'm told I need to make an appointment--that's where I draw the line. I don't really know how good the vets are because I haven't been able to see one on my numerous appointments except one time, because I was only able to use a tech most of the time. I'm switching Veternarians because at least I can see a vet and I can call for simple questions without always being told THAT I NEED AN APPOINTMENT!!!! read more
