Our very first stop was at Sweets Boutique and they delivered an incredible sandwich, fresh fruit, some very delicious bread, and a couple of cookies. There were two, different sandwiches in our pack. My wife & I usually go splitsies on meals at restaurants so we can try more things. I have to say: the ABLT (avocado, bacon, lettuce, & tomato) was SO insanely good. It was the first half sandwich I had and I immediately regretted sharing the second portion with her. The fruit that was included was super fresh and very juicy and there was an additional loaf of bread that we used as part of our lunch the next day -- also, SO good. I can't speak to the cookies because our daughters devoured them, so I think that should say plenty. My wife and I already said we're going to head to Yellow Springs again this Fall and we're going to make grabbing a couple sandwiches from Sweets Boutique a priority.

Looks like DLM is putting the pies into their own containers. Unfortunately, there is a label on the bottom of my container which lists a variety of some not so healthy ingredients as well as cream cheese. That contradicts the ingredients label on the front. Looks like a mistake. Does your blueberry pie contain cream cheese? My wife saw those ingredients and wanted me to return it. I told her it must be a mistake. I'll notify DLM.

We were so excited to have found this gem so early before strawberries and rhubarb are in season. I tasted the crust and found an unusual taste that was not pleasant. So I had heavy cream and whipped it thinking it would "help" the "unpleasant " flavor. It did not help. I read the ingredients on the "clam shell" and saw "almond extract" this was what was sooo overpowering that it took away any strawberry rhubarb filling plus "spices" which I am not sure but I think I tasted "cardamom" as well. I am probably wrong because the almond extract was so overpowering that you can not taste anything else. Hopefully it was a heavy handed baker that accidently poured more "almond extract" than meant too into the pie filling, that you could not taste either strawberry or rhubarb. Hopefully it was a "one off" as almond extract can be very polarizing when it comes to baked goods
