Oh my gosh. So many many improvements can (and should) be made here. 1. Staff is not friendly, helpful or even useful. They do literally nothing to assist you. They seem chronically confused and potentially understaffed. 2. The cookies. My goodness I'm so so underwhelmed and disappointed. These cookies are all mismatched and lumpy, some big some small for no reason. They did not look professional or tidy. They looked sloppy and unappealing. We ordered the minis and none of them were sized consistently. They were all doughy and undercooked leading to a soggy squishy texture and extremely bland flavor. I've had better cookies at Subway (ironically they specialize in sandwiches) and they didn't cost me a third of my paycheck either. We won't ever be back at this location, and it will be awhile before I give any Crumbl location a second chance. read more

Again another fabulous little find with low reviews. I don't get it maybe people are angry over the prices but you get what you pay for and the sizes of the cookies are huge. When you walk in you are just instantly happy with the colors and the smell of freshly made cookies The inside is pretty small, they do have plenty of parking, and I suggest placing your order online prior to going where you don't have to wait. The classic pink sugar cookie is probably my favorite but to be honest I have never had a bad cookie or ice cream from Crumble. Went there for the first time today. We were the only ones in there. The three employees never said one word to us. I figured out how to order on the tablet. Still nothing from the employees. Walked in because it looked fairly empty, was third in line, waited 20 minutes to move one space forward. One customer per 20 minutes is a terrible pace for a business that provides cookies to go. This isn't a sit-down restaurant. I left because I don't have an hour to wait for a cookie! So here's the secret...they serve cookie dough heated just enough to put enough of a crust on it to keep the gelatinous mass inside from oozing through your fingers onto your shoes. Big whoop. $4.12 for a cookie? Are you kidding me? And to add insult to injury, they have the nerve to ask for a tip at that ridiculous price. Of course, you could always buy cookies down the street about the same size that are actually, better tasting for half the price...but then how would that look on your Facebook page? Yeah, I freely admit that I was a sucker and bought one albeit just to satisfy my curiosity... They are good but by far, not even close to the best I have ever had and certainly not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and mix up your own cookie dough and bake them just beyond raw in your own oven. It really isn't that hard. In regard to service, every process is broken and is visible from the time you look through the front window. The line could be wrapped around the building and the sense of urgency from the staff is slower than the speed of smell. They have 1 speed. There is one register and instead of a menu people can see above, they have samples on the counter. Customer have to wait to get to the register to chose. This doubles the wait time. The bakers are forming cookies by weight. It takes them 30sec+ to form a cookie when they could just as easily use a scoop then form it. They can't make them fast enough before running out. Don't bother with online ordering. It's an even bigger train wreck. Get ready to wait longer than you would in line and you most likely won't get what you ordered. Tonight 6/18/2022, apparently their answer to the mayhem was to hire a bouncer for the door. While I waited 20min for my online order outside, I got to witness a man count people off yelliny "1..2..3..4.. YOUR DONE, YOU HAVE TO WAIT "and then shut the door in the customers face. "YOU CANT COME IN YOU HAVE TO WAIT HERE!" My 9 yr old asked me "Dad what's his problem?" They only time he wasn't being aggressive with customers was when he was announcing people's names on their orders when he simply stuck his he'd out the door and said their name expecting them to hear him down the sidewalk or out by their cars. With that pedestrian effort, the majority of the people couldnt hear him andntheir order ended up getting skipped. Other than that he acted like a bouncer at a ghetto strip club and treated your customers as such. Pretty weird flex for a 40yr old man in a shirt with cut out cookies on it. Yes, the flavor combos are good and inventive. Wow! What a disappointment and lack of leadership and organization. Went on soft opening and things were ok but they had a cash only and another credit card register open. The ability to pay with cash moved faster. Cookies are on display and we were shown them with a hand gesture while I had to ask a few questions about the cornbread and the Cookie Monster. Sorry to inconvenience you asking. I don't care for the underbaked cookies. The chocolates are very rich and in general, all the cookies are very sweet. Like, sickening sweet. My favorite was the key lime and it was still not enough for me to move this place to the top of my charts for cookies. The chocolate chip is pretty good for a second. The rest of the cookies seem to be reconfigured cookies from previous weeks of the same. The new cookie menu each weeks gives a huge push for this business and I applaud them for their marketing because it's what keeps people going. Adding chips, coconut, cereal, different colors of frosting or throwing a gold coin on top. I get why younger kids find the appeal but it's not my thing. My daughter does so I'm glad she likes them but the hassle that ensued during the first two visits for me is enough for me to never return until they find a better way to service customers. I get you are new and learning but your corporate should have given better instructions on how to roll out your online ordering. I ordered at 4:30 PM a single cookie with a pick up time of 7:00 PM. The system requires you to pay online and which is fine. However the tip they automatically add is $2 unless you change. I don't care about the tip but $2 for a $4 cookie is bit much. We came back to get one cookie and awaited our countdown que via the app. What a mess. It was all over with the speed of 6-4, then stalled at 3 for a long time. No blame on employees, they just need a better management system. Not sure if they were understaffed, but i was standing at the counter for 20 min before someone took my order after waiting in line for an hour when there was only 10 customers in front of me. They highly prioritize the pick up orders over in store customers. Cookies were not that good either. I'm sorry but the first problem is that not one worker greeted anyone when i walked into the store. When i got to the register i said i had a pickup order and the worker seemed uninterested and said "just wait over there". Even after I placed an online order before coming to the store and still waited 20 minutes in the store to receive my order. I recently visited the Washington Township location and was very excited to try Crumbl for the first time. The wait was 45 minutes which wasn't bad and was worth it if these cookies were as good as I've heard about other locations throughout the U.S.! Once we reached the front of the line to order, we ordered a variety of cookies totaling a half dozen with 3 of the cookies being chocolate chip. We were so excited only to get home and taste the chocolate chip cookies and they tasted as if they were prepared with the blueberry cookie dough! Aside from that, we tried the SnickerDoodle and it basically tasted like a regular sugar cookie sprinkled with whatever flavoring on top. We were VERY disappointed! I immediately just chopped it up as a loss and told all of my loved ones about my experience. A couple of days later my niece sent me a post from someone that she follows on Facebook with the post stating that they had two separate bad experiences with the Washington Township location as well with the latter being a SCREW in one of their cookies!!!! That prompted me to contact this location via phone which I called several times and never got an answer even after waiting on the line for an hour!!! I never received an answer so I had to email them and even though I stated that I didnt want a refund or replacement, all I received as a response was 'thanks for your feedback'. I've had Insomnia Cookie several times and have NEVER had a bad experience there. I was actually hoping to have a similar experience with Crumbl. This makes me much happier that an Insomnia Cookie will be opening in the Dayton area soon! read more
