So there I was, almost settling for a 'meh' mortgage deal--$400K, 20% down, and a steep 7.45% interest rate. I decided to have a second opinion and Found Moreira Team with so many great reviews, so I decided to contact them. Enter Lucky, my mortgage matchmaker. Within half an hour (no joke!), he rang me back with a deal that had my jaw dropping: $470K approved, just 3.5% down, and a 6.75% interest rate! But wait, there's more: The team had a cherry on top: They referred me to a superb Realtor named Catherine, who gave me a grand tour of Georgia homes. From there, Taylor and Amanda whisked through the paperwork, ensuring everything was ready in two weeks. For a first-time homebuyer, they turned what could've been a daunting drama into a smooth, feel-good experience. I'm so happy I found them! So if you're in the market for a great mortgage team, look no further. This team is the best!

They worked so fast to help me meet the seller's request for a more accelerated closing period, and throughout the process I always knew what was happening and what I needed to do next. Highly recommend them.

My parents & I decided it was a good time to refinance a home that we use as a rental property…read moresince the rates went down. We filled out an application on the Loan Factory website and was contacted via e-mail shortly after. Though we are in California, we primarily worked with Linh Nguyen from this Georgia location. She was very helpful with explaining things to my parents so that they would understand the difference in rate/cost of refinancing an investment vs their own primary residence. Whenever my mom & dad had a question or needed clarification, Linh was always a phone call/text away and wanted to make sure that she could do anything within her power to make sure we were satisfied & reassured. With the advice from Linh and the other associates of Loan Factory, we waited to lock in a low rate & closing cost and it saved us a lot of money in the long run. They set up rate alerts that would send daily e-mails to ensure we were aware. We refinanced in 2016 at 4.125% for 30 years and now we're going to pay the home off much sooner with our Quicken Loan Mortgage from Loan Factory at 2.99% for 15 years, which was a lot lower than our other quotes with closing cost from other lenders. Don't hesitate to use their website to get an estimate and talk with their loan officers. We are grateful and appreciative to everyone Loan Factory at the Georgia location for working hard in conjunction with the California locations. Thank you for being thorough in every step of the process and being patient with us.

Poor service and trust issues. To start, this VP said he…read morecould get me closed as soon as 10 days...what a crock. I had all documents ready but they couldn't make up there minds on what I needed. I was sending in documents right up to the closing date. The requirements just kept changing. Nothing they say can be trusted. The VP gave me the closing cost and when I ask how he got to that number he ghosted me. Three days later I got a document with a different number. This happened more that a few times. He failed to include my realtor and even reached out to the brokers attorney. After he received the appraisal that I paid for, he send three photos and then told me I could have the document. It took more than four days for me to see the document after several days of lies. Needless to say, none of the numbers he gave me were ever right, but the excuses were always there...it was always someone else's fault. Now for the irony; I was contacted by the companies management and asked if I would talk to them about my experience. I agreed and they set a date and time for this to take place. I received numerous texts and calls about the time and who I would be speaking too (Pete Peters). The time came and went with no call. So I really shouldn't be give a bad review to the VP because his leadership does the same thing. Do not at any time use this company. You will regret it and once you are too far down the road to turn back they will show their true colors. Poor service and untrustworthy company from the top to bottom.

I contacted Southeast Mortgage on June 29th for a refinance of my home in Dacula, Ga. Russ Strange…read morewas my lone officer. We submitted everything that was requested of me by Russ. Russ and I had several email conversations regarding why we needed the refinance and he worked out a refinance offer in which the appraised was to come in between 420K and 440K. It was hard to find Russ at times so we resorted to corresponding through email. After submitting comps for the appraiser to review and expressing my own anger and frustration with "the process," Russ finally sent over the documents to e-sign. Then I had to wait for the processor and underwriters to do their "thing." Today on July 8th Russ called and stated that he made a mistake in giving my wife credit for two pensions instead of one, therefore negating the whole deal. As Executive Vice-President, Russ should have known better than do what he obviously did. Be careful out there fellow refinancers. It is very hard to trust Russ Strange. I also want to say that there was little or no apology from Russ over the hard work of submitting documents and getting our house ready to be appraised. Russ made a $6,000 mistake on my file. There is simply no excuse for this. Southeast Mortgage and Russ Strange should be made to give me a refinance mortgage for their and Russ's mistake.
