Our closing took almost 3 months to close because of their ineptness. They asked over and over again for the same paper work from me or from the buyer. We'd point out that those papers were emailed weeks earlier. We were fortunate the buyer and seller hung in there for such a long escrow. Their inflated interest rate and all the money they wanted down was incredibly high. Once we fired them, we got a great lender who closed the transaction in 2 weeks and only needed half the money that they wanted from the buyer and the rate went from 8.6% to 3.5%.
