However, when she assisted me, she decided to take the item to the counter instead of placing in my hand like she did with the tourist group. Therefore, I was not treated equally as the associate must have assumed I would steal the item. This treatment was definitely discriminatory. Buyers, please be aware of how you are treated particularly as a woman of color in comparison to other ethnic groups in the store. Keep all of your products.
