My fave dessert is the chocolate chip walnut cookie---if all they have is plain chocolate chip I take a hard pass, those are nothing special. It had chipotle mayo on it instead of traditional mustard, which I thought actually worked pretty well. The Chimayo is essentially a fancy turkey sandwich but the flavor combinations they came up with for it are great. I would recommend both this one and the Cuban, and judging by these two, you probably couldn't go wrong with the others on the menu. They also have a large variety of prepackaged salads and other items in the cold case. I did not sample any of these but the variety was nice, and they all looked fresh. I might have rated this five stars for the deli alone, but we did need to buy a few groceries, and that's what brought it down to four stars. I understand the Co-op ideals of organic, locally grown, etc., but everything was more expensive than any other grocery store, even for basic items. It's still a nice place and I wouldn't say don't go there for groceries, but if you do, expect to pay a premium. And be sure to check out the deli when you're there!
