First time going to this place. We went specifically for the grandma trio pie. Absolutely phenomenal! The 3 sauces were delicious and the crust, wow! Light and airy like focaccia with a nice chew and a perfectly crispy edge! We'll definitely be back and can't wait to try some of the numerous other options on the menu! read more

I liked this restaurant. The food was hot and served quickly. I got the shrimp scampi and my friend got spinach ravioli in blush sauce. Husband got chicken Caesar salad. We all agree the each of our dishes were excellent and very affordable! The bread served was hot and fresh and we also got garlic bread that was toasted perfectly. Jess was out waiter and had a cool sense of humor. We left full and still had about half of dinner to take home I will say I was a bit disappointed in the sauteed broccoli rabe. I was thrilled to have it on the menu and it was mostly cooked perfectly, the disappointment was that it was slightly past peak and was a bit too fiberous to eat the stems. Husband was picking on the ambiance and I jokingly ask what was he expecting neon Las Vagas signs? Decor was subtle and appealing. read more

I have heard from several other "locals" that they weren't happy with this place. I say, give them another try! You may have had a bad experience with the OLD owner - the new owner is definitely on top of his game! We ordered a good amount of food last night, everything was prepared perfectly, the only thing they missed was a side of bleu cheese and celery for the wings - but the wings were done right, so it's all good! Always support local versus the big chains! I had the all veggie grinder, my GF had the antipasto salad, and we shared some wings. read more

So I'm conflicted here. On one hand the food here is great. Big fan of the chicken sandwich and the Sicilian pizza. It's close and I think the prices are reasonable. However it might have the most obnoxious parking setup I've ever seen. It's way too tight, not enough parking spaces, and the entire lot is pothole city. I literally have times where I'm craving it and I will go elsewhere because of how awful it is to get in and out of there. read more

Oh my.... I want to like this place since its walking distance from my house but sadly that's not the case. You walk in and the vibe just screams outdated. We've been here multiple times for a sit down dinner where they have been short kitchen staff. You can hear the yelling in the kitchen and it's very uncomfortable. We once had to wait 2 hour and 30 mins for our food because there was almost no one there to cook. It was awful and we weren't even given an apology. Any place that has unlimited all you can eat spaghetti always makes me skeptical. How much spaghetti can you eat?!! The food doesn't seem fresh, something you want in a pizza shop. We refuse to go back here after multiple bad experiences. read more

SO looking forward to eating here tonight. Walked in and wondered if the people next to us just didn't like each other cause they were sitting there looking mad. We were seated and a server (who wasn't even ours) got our drink orders and brought our salads, which took forever. The table behind the "mad" people got up and walked out since they never took their order. We waited, she said it will be right out. 1/2 hour later we asked when we were getting our food, she came back and said they were working on it? So we said forget it and walked out while they profusely apologized. Never going back - used to be a great place. Me thinks they expanded and now they just can't handle it. Working on it? Giovannis is the best pizza place along Route 23, and one of the best in Chester and Berks County. Service is efficient and friendly. The recent remodeling done on the interior creates a fantastic ambiance for a cute weeknight dinner date. The outdoor seating is perfect for a casual lunch hangout. read more

This place is the easiest place to order pizza online in the area. They have contact free delivery. For a while delivery was free which was nice. We ordered here quite a few times during quarantine. Their pizza is really good. The only problem was that when we ordered Hawaiian pizza it said online that it came with bacon and when we got it, it had ham on it. All in all we really like their food though! We will keep ordering from them! read more

Owner and staff are always friendly. My favorite is the antipasto Italiano salad. Provolone, prosciutto, tuna, olives, pickled veggies, artichokes, red onion and tomato over a bed of romaine with vingerette. Get the small for lunch or you'll be eating the rest for dinner... that's just how big their salads are! Pizza, sandwiches and pasta dishes are all good. Our first time at this place was a good one. My daughter ordered the personal 10 inch pizza and I absolutely loved the crust! Very crunchy and the sauce was amazing. Never had a better pizza. My italian sub was pretty good, though, I felt the meat was sliced too thick. My husband had the chicken alfredo and he thought it was pretty good also. There were only a few people there, but people were coming in for take-out. Usually an empty restaurant means its not all that good. I disagree though, what we ordered was delicious. We also had some dessert, the tiramisu was really very good. You could taste the espresso in each bite! The service was attentive and friendly, And I must say the beautiful hand painted walls and italian music made it a nice dining experience. read more

I would give this place negative stars if I could! We were a large group with small children so we called ahead and were assured it would be no problem. We ordered from the menu, nothing unusual, and waited one and one half hours for our food! You can imagine how the kids were by that time! The food only finally came when, after asking several times, and being told each time that the food was coming momentarily, we threatened to leave. Then the food arrived within minutes, so you know it was sitting under a heat lamp. The waitress said they were busy with take outs-and we did see several people come in and pick up pizzas while we waited. Sorry, if you can't handle in house service, don't offer it! The service was good it was a young man. He wasn't as friendly as i would be with a party of 10 with all entrees . I'd be all over them making them happy . He was nice a polite but wasn't thinking ahead , app plates and extra napkins and a knife to cut our cake . We had to ask for those things . We did called to check if it was okay to bring a cake. Now for the food .I really think only 1/3 of the party liked their food . It was not bad but was not fabulous it was so so . I think next time I'll get a pizza . read more

Had lasagna and it had more water in it than my swimming pool. Sauce was red water. Pizza Fries were a soggy mess. The cooks in the kitchen were dropping more f bombs than a rap show. Shut the kitchen door or tell the loud mouth cook to take his gansta talk outside. It was offensive to my kids and me. We have ordered from here many times. The food has been good each time - pizza, cheesesteaks, fries (sometimes a little too crispy). Have not tried any of the entrée dinners. The menu is not unique, but that is okay as long as its consistent, especially in an area with few options. We have tried the other local spots, of which only one other is comparably good at pizza fare, but Giovanni delivers, which is a huge plus. So summary is - Worth a shot if you're living near-by and want to order in. It will be good food, but not amazing. read more

We go here quite a bit, but it doesn't mean it's good. Their saving grace is that they deliver. And, on about one out of three deliveries, they forget something. Food handling practices are a nightmare, way too many people going in and out of the kitchen. Cooks seem to be whoever is within arms reach of the ingredients. Cooks, for lack of a better term are constantly going in and out of the kitchen, bathroom, and outside, handling their cell phones, touching door handles, and then touching your raw food. I'm surprised that I haven't become sick so far. Pasta dishes are OK, but their pizza's are a disgrace. A round orange greasy blob. No character or table appeal. You want a good pizza, go to AJ's in Morgantown. Their Cheesesteaks barely have enough meat to fill the bun. I'm being generous by giving them two stars. read more

I love Giovanni's. They have prosciutto as a pizza topping. The prosciutto and sweet pepper pizza is delicious. Stromboli's are great. They have good Italian dinners. I would recommend over Petrangeli's anytime. read more
