Service was lacking today. Waited over 20 minutes and never received a refill on my drink. The pizza I got off the buffet had just came out of the oven. It was cold and hard by the time I gave up and got up to leave. Table next to me was waited on. I was asked if I wanted a drink to go while approaching the register. I said why bother now. This is my favorite Giovanni's Pizza in the entire Tri-State area. The food is consistently good, the place is always clean and the service is great. We usually go here about once a week and have never had a bad experience. The family style lasagna is one of our favorite things on their menu, it will easily feed six and comes with Giovanni's famous garlic bread. They have a buffet that is really good, they keep fresh food out and are constantly working on the food and salad buffet. If you want pizza or Italian food I recommend Giovanni's in Ironton Ohio. read more

Just passing through and asked for a recommendation- told that this place is good. Unfortunately the wrong pizza was delivered. Called back and they quickly made it right! Probably my fault for not checking, actually I ate some but when my wife tried it she was able to tell immediately ( dislikes pepperoni). I'm very familiar with the Giovanni's franchise, and eat it a LOT. This is my first time at this particular store...and it will be my last. The buffet pizza was rather old when we arrived. There was NO garlic bread (which I think is one of the staples of Giovanni's). They finally replenished everything about the time I was ready for dessert. There were at least 10 people in the kitchen (I counted) and we were one of three tables. We had to call out to our waitress to get drink refills - and when she approached the table, she told us she was "about to leave". I do appreciate that this Giovanni's has extra things like sandwiches on the buffet...but the terrible service left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I'm visiting from out of town and know this pizza place well as I have eaten at them in other cities. This location does not present a good face for the company. If I didnt know other locations were better, I would not eat at this brand again. I have several issues: poor service...waitress only came to the three tables seated once in an hour, flies flying all around my plate whole trying to eat. I took my scraps and put it all on one plate and moved it to the other side of my table hoping they would leave me alone. The pizza on the buffet was undercooked, noodles were dry and the lighting was very dim...probably so you can't see the flies attacking your food. I would not recommend nor will I be back to this location. Very sad read more

Best Giovanni's in my opinion. Best pizza place around in fact! The customer services is great, the buffet is delicious, and the environment is exceptional! You can ask for anything to be put on the bar and they'll do it. I am a frequent customer now and will always be! Plus the prices are unbeatable! read more

The only reason I'm giving this one star is the food is good. They really need to get it together. They have curbside which is good during COVID 19 but unfortunately every time we've got curbside we park in the curbside parking spot, sit there for 25 minutes then end up having to go inside and our pizza is just sitting there on the counter. It's not curbside, the whole point of curbside is you don't have to go inside the restaurant. This has happened 4 times now. Next time we will go to one at a different location. read more

Visiting from out of town, and our family ordered several pizzas from here to share. All different toppings and types of pizza. Everyone enjoyed it, with minimal leftovers haha. Nice to have something other than a national chain while visiting. We would order from here again. read more

OMG. I haven't been home since 2005. TEN freakin' years without a Giovanni's pizza. I'm literally going to rip off the first person I see with added fake hair. The pizza in Orlando is S'*t. What I'd give for an 18 inch pizza, & a large Italian sub every other day for the week in home. I'll be there in August. Yahoo!!! Also, some1 mentioned thick crust? When did this travesty happen? With a buffet the locals seem to love and very friendly service, (as we waited for 3 subs for about 20 minutes on a busy sat night) we were asked by two different employees if we wanted a complimentary drink. The problem was we ordered Italian subs and they were heated. Melted cheese and warm salami with cold lettuce and tomato didn't hit the spot for our east coast palate. May be a local thing to heat Italian subs, if you're going for a sub just ask for no heat! read more

If i could give this place less than one star i would..the night manager is not friendly when it comes to the fact that they are in the wrong and mess an order up plus they cheat u..i ordered a double cheese pizza when it arrived they had forgot things on my order and the pizza barely had cheese then when i told them to come get it and remake my order they acted as tho it was my fault..But this isnt the worst..when they took our order it was around $35 we told them to charge $10 on the card and we would rest in cash..Next day we realized the driver not one took our $26 in cash but they also charged our while card the full amount..To make a very long story,Shorter..They would not work with us and again acted as if this was our fault..So as of now we are working with corporate to hopefully resolve this issue..Its not even mostly about the money,Its mostly about the principle and how we were treated..So if u are gonna order from this place id suggest u pay them cash on delivery so these people don't try to steal from u and in advert blame u and don't expect them to usually get ur order right the first time..Bc that prob just isn't gonna happen..So to whatever night manager worked on tuesday August 22nd 2017 which was a female and what reddish hair male driver that worked that night that stole our money..We have 1 thing to say..Hope y'all feel good about what y'all did bc we are going to the source and i myself will not rest till i at least have an explanation of why we were treated so wrong..And there is some justice for your actions.. read more
