There is an old saying in business: "The customer is always right." At the Logan Giovanni's, however, Kristy the manager is always right. The customer comes last. This manager can't even correctly take an order--but that's not her fault. It's your fault--and when you say that your order is incorrect she becomes rude and unhelpful. And when you say you'll speak to the person above her about her handling of it, she will tell you the boss is on vacation and let you know that she's been employed there for ten years. In other words, no need to complain because she's beyond reproach. How is this awful and incompetent person with zero people skills a ten-year employee in a restaurant? I won't eat here again. That's a loss of about $20 per week for the owner. read more

Last time I ordered a pizza I paid over $23 for a ten inch pizza. Over $23! How can you possibly charge the same for toppings on a small pizza as for your biggest? Ok so I ordered a.delivery of a after fees and taxes 44 dollars . I asked multiple times for extra extra cheese , I was wary because they always get something wrong but figured I'd give them a chance, get the pizza it's cold with hardly any cheese I call to hopefully rectify the situation and the lady was nice but she wanted me to bring the pizza back myself because the delivery boy complains about gas , I'm sitting here covered in SHINGLES and can't get out right now so they are basically asking me to spend my own money in gas to get a order I already paid for . Wow! This place was jammin! I guess it's the best "Italian" In the area. Seems everyone works there or was getting food to go. There were a few eating in though. They were super friendly at the counter. And they had about 4 people working it! We got a small pizza, a "calzone", and a Philly steak sandwich. Surprisingly the Philly was the best thing. I didn't expect much but this was ok. Pleasantly pleased! The "calzone", and I'm using quotes for a reason, was more like a quesadilla. It had only mozzarella, and completely flat......like a quesadilla. Very odd. As a quesadilla I didn't mind it. As a freaking calzone, it was horrible. The pizza actually looked very good but I'm a pizza snob and didn't care for it. (The sauce, I like a sweeter sauce, less ketchup tasting). All in all, this place is all right! read more

Normally not a fan of Giovanni's, due to most of their restaurants. I have drove by this one many times and ALWAYS seems busy which is usually a good sign. Long story short. Me and the family gave this place a try and was surprised. It was clean not greasy like alot of pizza joints, service was quick, and courteous, menu selection is different than other Giovannis. we got our food within a good time, it was good. The crust was crisp and just right amount of toppings. For a party of 5 the bill was 40 bucks which i think is a good deal at a sit down pizza place. Their food is good. I haven't ate there since I worked there though. The employees handle your food with their BARE hands..no gloves. You have no clue if they wash their hands or not. When I worked at the Chapmanville Gino's just a 15-20 minute drive from the one in Logan, one of my co-workers accidentally spilled half a bag of pepperoni in the floor. Our first instincts were to throw it away and not serve it. NOPE, the owner (well, private owner, he acts like his wife runs it when he does) seen us and demanded us just pick it up and put in back in the bag of good pepperoni and use it on customers food. I was definitely shocked. Would I recommend this place....after working there and knowing for a fact what goes on...NO I would NOT. read more

Delivery prices are $7 more on each pizza than dine in or carry out prices. Gas prices are currently $2.29 per gallon, so there is no reason for this price hike, it's a rip off. If you order two or more pizza's for delivery than you end up paying two or more times for the same delivery. The pizza/item prices should be the same price no matter if your dinning in, or having delivery but there should be a price for delivery added regardless if you buy one or ten items. I always order delivery and usually spend $100 to $160 dollars in delivery but I refuse to order here again unless they adjust the unfair delivery problems. I generally ordered two to three times per month from here but I finally realized how much money there were ripping me off by making me pay 8 to 10 times for delivery. I'll keep my $450 to $500 a month than give it undeserving to a restaurant. I've complained before but they made no effort to correct the problem, they have made it worse. read more
