Family size chicken Alfredo that I tried to reheat.

The food was awful! We got a family size chicken Alfredo with garlic bread with cheese. The chicken Alfredo was still cold and runny inside we couldn't eat it. I asked the employee if that's how they make them and she's like well we don't make them a lot so we just make it like it says. Alright so my husband gets a sandwich it's good. We decide to get a bbq chicken pizza to go since we wasted $32 on the Alfredo they didn't cook and they had this disgusting show on the TV while we was trying to eat it it was of kids having infection and stuff like staff it's not the best thing to watch while trying to eat. Anyway we get home and the pizza wasn't even cut. I will say it was better then the Alfredo I also tried to reheat the Alfredo and it was still awful just a waste of money. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager and explained what happened she did say she'd give me 5% off my next order but 5% isn't worth losing money on food you can't even eat. I told her she needs to let her customers know that the food may or may not be done and it's not their problem. That I wouldn't be eating there again! I spent over $70 on the pizza, Alfredo with garlic cheesy bread and and sub sandwich and it was wasted money! Please don't waste your time or money eating here!

First trip to Louisa. Great pizza and service. The place was popping on a Thursday night. Thin crust is the best choice.

Giovanni's of Louisa never disappoints! Great pizza, breadsticks, salad, & cheese fries! Better than any other Giovanni's that I've tried.

We were passing thru Charleston, wanted a place we could walk to from our hotel. Great place- We…read moresplit a small classic pizza, and a simple salad. Food and service were excellent. The pizza toppings and sauce were flavorful, the crust had just enough crispness and chewy bite to it. Salad was very fresh and crisp. Gorgonzola dressing flavorful but not over-powering. Had a Headhunter IPA recommended by our server was great. Great meal. Excellent service. Only suggestion I'd have is to put up a more visible sign. Walked by it once and on way back to hotel asked some peole on sidewalk where it was and they pointed across the street. Fun atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Charleston, WV during our roadtrip and looking for dinner…read moreduring the work week. I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
